Announcing Become a Skill Trainer Update.
    *There are two different versions:
The original version (you have to have over 75 in a skill to train)
The easy version (you have to have over 50 in a skill to train)
*A perk will also be taught during training.
*There is an optional file to train followers for free.

All files are now available for download.

I like the idea however, it seems to me, that it is too easy to be a trainer for every skill, I'd like to see that a hidden trainer skill perk tree is added that once you reached level 100 the first time, the first perk is unlocked at level 25 and so forth, when arriving the second time on that level, when your skill is already legendary. and that the expert and master trainer perks are unlocked once you do 2nd time legendary at level 80 and 100 then a player will not be able to train EVERY skill but just some...

it would be cool if this was made like a random encounter. for example a random npc will come to you (like a courier, or a mage challenger) and will ask you to train him instead of you going and talking to random npc asking and selling yourself. it feels weird. almost dirty. If you can do that (probably add it as a different version?) that would be so cool. imagine a breton milk drinker went running towards you asking for tips and tricks on how to properly wield a sword, and of course you teach him for like a few times and then later on, (after you have taught him everything he needs), you get to meet him somewhere and see him killing 3 bears or 2 dragons and you'll be like "thats my student" and then maybe, just maybe.. you can later on add him as your follower. and you'll be like, "follow me my apprentice" or or, maybe you also have the option to make any apprentices a follower, and like he will learn firsthand everything he wishes to learn during all your adventures. IMAGINE THAT.

Agreed on all fronts. That's hype level immersion.

Cool idea, maybe add in a feature where people actually come seek you out to train?
That way u can be the reclusive grand master, living somewhere remote so that getting there is the first test or whatever
U could possibly use the courier script or some other npc's. Anyways, great mod!

Cool idea. I'll bookmark this and wait with it to see if any progress in that direction is made.

      OOooooo. Very cool.

And maybe add an open-ended perk reference system, where it's not even just "You're amazing at archery, Grand Master" but even "I've sought you out, Master of the Eagle Eye technique."

    1. Is there any way to propagate skill training, the way we can track a piece of sold gear ending up in faction hands? How cool would it be to train people In something, then see bandits or guards or others suddenly getting better at those same skills based on possible relationships?

    2. How do we sign up for the voice work your planning? I'd LOVE to be involved there.

The mod works in the sense that you can make money from it. However the skills of the npcs don't actually increase. I have another mod that tells me what levels an npc has when I use something on them, and the numbers don't increase. Is this how it's meant to be?

What about the fouth picture? it shows that the actor gained the skill
      .
Perhaps the mod you have has to update before reusing it in the same cell? like using a door first and then using it?

Well, ill guess il download it and find out for myself :P

I don't get it. I am using uncapped and have like a 133 in Alchemy, but I have a 75 in Smithing. I go to Sonia, a companion of mine and it comes up in the dialogue, but never any options beyond that to choose the area of skill or anything. I read through a lot of comments and others don't seem to be having the same trouble getting it to work and actually train folks. I'll have to test it more.

Sonia has her own set of rules that cause much annoyance with many mods.

So it looks like this mod is dead. But if it had a SkyRe compatibility patch, I would totally have it.

    I love this mod
What about a version that make it possible to train someone as long as you are better than them in a skill.
I mean, it doesn't matter if you have 20, 30 or 100 in a skill, you should still be able to teach something to that guy who have 0 in that skill.
