    Ok, I swear to the divines I’m NOT here to Complain! I just wanna ask, is there a way that someone could port this to Skyrim SE? I really liked this mod when I played Old Skyrim. I know It’s alot to ask, but I would love to have this mod on SE and I know others would love it too.

    For you in 2019 how have the invisible creatures problem, here is the solution:

    Look that all files are named "wildlife_overhaul". The Problem is that some file have the name wildlife_overhaul1.3. Make sure, that all file have the same Name and remove the 1.3. After that everywhing load and you finally see the new creatures.

    I am disappointed this mod has been abandoned. I was hoping for some bison. It is a bit odd to have all of these NA animals, imo too. I think minks and stuff would make more sense than racoons. Though I do love racoons so I wouldn't actually complain. Also, I second the wolves comment someone else made. Wolves attack if they're in big enough packs, they just wouldn't attack my party of three humans on horses with two large dogs with only three in their pack. Maybe it should be based on who outnumbers who. Like if you're a lone person, and there are two or three wolves, within a certain range, they would attack you, but if you are in a group of two or three, or if you outnumber them, they would not.

    I made suggestions even though I just acknowledged the mod was abandoned lol. This is what I get for getting into Skyrim years and years after it's released.

    Can you make these animals conjurable for the summoning mage? This is the best selection of animals I've found.

    Would it be possible to, in a future update, include a MCM option for wolves to be more aggressive? I realise you don't like the "wolves are bad guys" stereotype, but in real life, they WILL attack if they have a large enough pack. If I had the DLC's, I'd get the Realistic Animals and Predators mod over this one, for this very reason.

    Wolves will attack when in packs. Yet they scram and scatter even when there are three or more with this mod. Not a fan of that.

    For those still experiencing invisible animals, just edit the "wildlife_overhaul_fix.bsa" to say "wildlife_overhaul.bsa" .bsa are linked to .esp so it has to be the same name. Simple fix.

    Edit: Looks like AsianAssassin down yonder figured out the same thing. His comment is a little more detailed.

    Alright, I just tweaked some of my animal mods together now, this one is actually replacing skytest for now. I have this one, True Elk (not so incompatible ha), and True Wolves with a lot of wolf sound replacers. (I picked the sound files I liked best out of them all) I'm playing them on the Special Edition as well. All you need to do is unpack any .bsa's if there is one, and there's a good chance it work fine.

    Would it be possible to choose which animals I want in the game? Because I would very much like lynxes, beavers, moose and reindeer in my game, but I feel like the American animals like raccoons and cougars seem a bit out of place in an obviously Scandinavian-inspired setting. I also think renaming the caribou to reindeer might be a bit more culturally accurate, since caribou is actually the American variant of reindeers while reindeers are the Eurasian type.
    Perhaps you could make some standalone files for some of the animals? Or a file that only adds Nordic fauna?

      I second this some of the animals I don't feel fit my Skyrim and some like the wolves I already have mesh replacers for i'd very much like to keep.
