I wanted to know how do you remove the annoying shield effect from the lightning cloak but keep the electricity effect. I looked at it in the creation kit but could only find the regular enhancements no option to add or remove cloak effect. Great mod by the way.
So I've finally gotten my character to the level where I would use these... (im using 1.1b - no perk version) Faralda doesn't seem to sell the tomes (after ive done the elements quest), so ive added them using the console (added the spell tomes): Cryomancer & Pyromancer work as intended, however when learning the spell Fulgurmancer - it adds Lightning Storm (Master level Lightning spell). Adding Fulgurmancer as a spell (player.addspell ...) works as intended; also aegis spell/tome doesn't seem to be added at all.
Also to correct: you can only cast 1 of the spells at a time (the X4 effect only gets applied to the respective element), when casting a different element i.e. cryomancer over the pyromancer, the fire effect gets overwritten (however the animations overlap for the remaining < 120 seconds).
Btw I really appreciate the effort and vision you've put into this mod and hope you can fix the small bugs... I will still be using the mod (endorsed)
well... i searched google and lightning in latin is fulgur ("Keraunomancer" was good but it's too large) what do you think guys, should i change it to FULGURMANCER!!?? or not?... whatever...
yes it's just that, haha the only "elaborate" thing it's how its made in the perks so the effects are present only when you activate the spell, but the idea it's kind of cool and the visuals are aceptable, haha... and it's not in the vanilla game, so hell yea! i made it a mod!! and i'm lazy to search something more elaborate in the nexus... also... OMG cryo and pyromancer!!! those were the words!! my mind couldn't find them when i was doing the mod so i'll change them, thanks... and, compatibility patch!? i've made like... two mods both very simple... what is a compatibility patch... what is a script!?? i'm no genius, only a lazy gamer/modder... so if someone want to make a compatibility patch go ahead...

and i don't know what could happen if you mix the spells all at the same time... :S
Cool mod, will definitely use, any chance for a full elemental powerup (i.e. after you've mastered all 3 perks/elements) to be an overpowered version?
also regarding the compatibility patch, he means doing a version without perks (maybe feralda or whatever the destruction wizard's name is sells the perk tomes, for a decent price, after the master quest is done)

Edit: I didnt realise that you could cast all 3 powers at the same time (this is what i meant by the overpowered version LOL) - and a no perk version is welcomed...
well, truth to be told, i would like to make the player float like the vampire lord animation when in elemental form... and also change the blood splatters when you get hit by a bright blue splatter (shock nature for example) and add lightning bolts coming from your body to the enemy automatically and so much more... but like i said i'm an inexperienced modder... i'll try to make a version without the perks and a overpowered version... but i'm not promissing anything also if someone more experienced want to work on this or help me, go ahead...
now about the master aspect... i don't know, now it's unlocked on destruction... 60 or 75 don't remember... i was thinking in the begining on doing it after the master spells... but by that time in the game my character was already a badass and could kill almost anything pretty quick on hard mode and i was about the end of the game... so, why spent the majority of the game without those advantages?... so i put them in destruction 60 like in the middle of the game to be able to enjoy them in the game for more time... but, it's very simple, i think, make the change to unlock it after master destruction spells... maybe, and just maybe i could do it that way with the "no perk version"... again, if someone want to collaborate go ahead...
