The problem with the lanterns is that they use the same effect as the torches, so there's no way to include torches but not lanterns. I could make a version that only brightens mage spells and leaves torches and lanterns alone. As for the MCM menu, I'm not much of a modder. This mod is so simple, I was able to create it. I couldn't find one that did made the radius bigger without changing anything else. I will talk to my wife about scripting for me though. Or, if anyone else wants to help with an MCM script, I would really appreciate it.
