Strange question but is there any way to make the loose files work on bandits? I want bandits to have red eyes lol.

Could I just change the file that have the name 'draugr' and change that to 'bandit'?

it is an art object attached by a magic effect, you'd have to add it in ck/xedit

but i don't know how it would look on a human npc, probably not great

      Thanks for the reply.

EDIT: What would happen if I did do as I mentioned above? Would it still appear? Would changing 'draugr' to 'bandit' do anything to bandits?

I don't know anything about xedit and I haven't installed CK yet as I'm worried Steam might verify my Skyrim folder or some other s#*! might go wrong lol (been playing in offline mode since I modded my game, doesn't matter though as I don't use Steam).

I'd just like to make my bandits more evil, it's never sat well with me slaughtering hundreds of them when some of them might not be that bad (could be like a Robin Hood style), if they're killers then yeah, no problem, but if all they do is steal from people then murdering them might be a tad bit over the top lol.

Extract the plugin in the /Skyrim/Data folder and make sure this mod is checked on the load order" that you descibed and i dont really know where to go or how to do it? please help

The BSA version didn't work for me either. Sorry this post is a little old now. Anyway, I checked the path and the eyes are in another folder below the character folder. Which is incorrect according to the Creation kit file path. If you simply download the loose files #4 I think, all you have to do is drop those in the Data\meshes\actors\draugr\character assets folder. You don't even need the esp.

The current BSA path used in this mod is data\meshes\actors\draugr\character assets\redeye. Perhaps this path was changed in a Beth update. Not sure. But basically the redeye folder throws off the esp so it doesn't work in game. The esp is invalid.

Perhaps someone else can explain it better. Cool mod. Love the red eyes!

if memory serves the esp/bsa version points the eyes to a separate place so they don't overwrite but yes with the loose files for both no esp is needed

Really good! Could you add the skeleton eyes on the loose files? There's only the Draugr one inside.

You can use the same loose files for any of the ESPs.

I like those mods you have in the images. It's high res and...dreary...with the red eyes, it's a perfect immersion. I hate to be one of those people but if I could please trouble you for the mods you used: ENB, retextures?

No ENB, and I have more retextures than I can count but from what I can see in the picture, I have Grass on Steroids, Draugr AV Package, Skyrim HD and Superior Rock Textures 4k.

Ok, thank you. I got tired of having a super bright saturated Skyrim. I wanted a change of pace.

Now Draugr look exactly like the Undead Soldiers from Dark Souls. Great job! Odd because just this morning i was wishing there was a mod to change the glowing blue eyes to red, and bang here it is. Weird timing.

The draugr always used to have red eyes in the Elder Scrolls series too - just look at their first appearance in TES3: Morrowind - Bloodmoon:

Nice work, mrjentipede - I'd endorse, but I already made the same change in a personal mod I made a long while ago!
