I accidentally killed the driver of the Morthal cart in a local skirmish :-(

He doesn't seem to respawn. Does anyone know how to resurrect him, pls?

Great mod thanks for taking the time to make this! This is something I'll be using forever in my skyrim.

I like the idea of having carriages in those 3 towns. However, Why can't we get past the open lumber wagon and make actual in closed carriages? I'm not talking just about your mod, but the others as well. Ok rant off.

My personal theory is that Bethesda wanted it to seem semi-realistic, in the sense that the drivers are like a lot of the other commoners and probably aren't all that wealthy, so they ended up building their own less-than-professional carriages. But I agree, I am Dovahkiin and I want to travel in style dangnabbit!

While I understand what you are saying, I suspect well to do travelers out of Solitude would demand and get better. These kinds of services tend to end up as company type operations. Think of it Skyrim Carriage service, our carriages are sleeker, faster and more comfortable that those government run guys. Then there could be Skyrim Tours, fast, safe, comfortable, dry, convenient! Yes the good old spirit of competition and capitalism at its finest.

Any slight chance that a real carriage model (that actually has existed since just about forever) will ever be added?

If you search for "carriage" , you will find numerous carriage altering mods, like this one. "Scenic Carriages" adds actual carriage travel in real-time. "Cart in Each Big Town" does what this mod does, as does "Expanded Carriage Service" and "More Carriages". Then there is "Better Fast Travel - Carriages and Ships" which adds many more travel locations both land and water based.

Yeah I had a feeling there was already loads of mods like this out there, but I couldn't seem to find any for some reason.. Regardless I think I'm entitled to a little smug pride at having made my own, albeit much poorer mod x3

I don't plan on updating this all that much, it was just a simple little thing I wanted to do for myself that I figured other people might find a use for.

With mods like this it doesnt matter if there are a dozen out there already. Everyone has a different way of doing things, and sometimes the only way to get something exactly the way you like it, is to do it yourself.

I had no idea that mod even existed, to be honest. I've just always been so bugged by the lack of non-fast travel methods in certain key points of the game, and I couldn't find a mod that added any so I just made a simple one myself. If I had known it had been done so sooner and so much better I never would have bothered :T

It's very popular. Gopher uses it, you know.
