I love all the colours and I love the armor itself, but even though I am using the fixed version, there is still a dreadful gap in the neck area. I know that it's 2018, but any help would be appreciated.

  Sorry, but right now i just don't have the time to do much.
  Do you have a mod installed that changes the characters body? If so you can try deactivating it.
  I created this mod with the standard body model, so it is possible that different body models can cause problems.

I'm experiencing crashes whenever I equip the armor and subsequently attempt to view it in third person. Is there a fix for this?

Could you make a heavy armor version of this? It's really hard to find some heavy armored robe for my Viglant of Stendarr character.

  Sorry, but i simply don't think that this looks like a heavy armor, thats why i did make it a Light Armor

  No. The meshes are the same, but this mod use a seperate copy.
