It never made sense to me that you could collect fragments but not craft them into full stones. I'm glad I came across this, very useful, thank you so much! n_n
I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but when I used the workstation, I leveled up like crazy. I leveled my character overall, not just enchanting. I destroyed 10 petty gems & created 1 black soul gem and went from level 41 to 45 & my enchant skill went from 55 to 109! The only other mod I have that affects soul gems just makes them weigh nothing. If the leveling can be slowed, this mod would be perfect. I kept hoping I would find a purpose for the fragments in game, but since they appear to be useless, your mod is much needed
Same here. Pretty immersion breaking. Also, I wouldn't mind if there was a version where the soul gem binder was only in the College of Winterhold and maybe one or two areas with a large magical significance
Same problem, still exists, broke open a few quite small soul gems and jumped about 50 enchantment levels Shame, nice neat self-contained mod otherwise, going to try alternatives now regretfully.
Love the mod. Good balance, requiring ectoplasm and all. I too would love to see a way to 'break' a soul gem so that I can upgrade these 9,999 lesser soul gems I've got.
Great idea; looks really well done. I will give it a try. It would be nice if you could turn soul gems into fragments as well (maybe at a forge?) so you can upgrade lower gems.
