Not haiku, it's an old spice guy joke. But I have to say this is possibly the laziest retexture (if it can even be called that) I have ever seen. Learn to spend more than 5 minutes working on it, eh?
A lonesome traveler goes down a snowy road, when suddenly a ragged bandit with nothing to lose steps in front of him and draws his blade:
''Gimmie fiftee' pieces of gold or I'll gut you!'' ''Erm, you've got a solid gold dagger there mate..'' ''Yeah, and ya think twas' cheap!? I'ma saving for a BROADSWORD here so pony up buddy!''
Kinda flashes back to oblivion and every skooma hitting bandit going deadric or glass and then asking me for a handout. PS We already have a ''golden dagger'' ingame > dwarven dagger.
Anyone can make decent gold texture when you actually know what gold look like. if i wanted a gold dagger, i'd make one myself instead of using this mod.
i don't want to troll, but i must say that this is not gold, it's a yellow dagger. A lot of people try to make golden retextures and i've been modding FNV (and now skyrim) since FNV was released and i haven't seen any decent gold retex. Most of them are yellow, other too saturated or not shiny at all. I even tried to make one and it was horrible... So i can't really help as i don't knwo how to make gold look realitic, but maybe you can try the following thing:
-Make it shinier (with dodge tool in gimp or photoshop) -Add scratches (same tool as above, a brush of 1 or 2 pixels) -less saturated -look for a reference, like this maybe. -As it's golden, maybe add some details, or emeralds ans such.

Erm okay there, was never too big on haiku..
Remember though:
''Once bread becomes toast it can never go back.''
Now look at your steel
Now back to me
Now back at your steel,
The steel is now GOLD!
*I'll be off now*
