sooo i've put the mod in right and they show up when i try to make them but they are invisible and i cant see them. the bolts also can't be seen and they do no damage. any ideas?
You are my hero. I uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim fresh with no mods, went and downloaded Skyrim Redone and the CBC, and tried everything from there to make CBC work (reproccer patches, tried editing everything manually from the Creation Kit, etc). Finally stumbled across this and everything works. You have my endorsement and my soul. Thank you.
For those of you that are having issues with the installation instructions, here's exactly what I did to make it work: 1. Install and activate this mod via NMM 2. Run the ReProccer.jar
And that's it! I didn't have to touch Stats.xml for the crossbows to maintain their proper damage. They aren't overpowered and seem to work just fine. Hey there, I installed the original mod, then yours, got the xml for B&S, since I use B&S. Ran reproccer and all seemed to work fine, damage values in-game look great and well balanced.
I made a dragonskull crossbow, which works fine - But if I try to upgrade that into any other variant (Recurve, Lightweight) I get CTD. Any ideas?
If all work but that one crossbow then its most likely my patch at fault. Just use other xbow as i have no intention of supporting this patch after skyre stop to update and issues pop out.
I've been using this mod and I'm having issues with bolts, when you take the "add enchanted bolts and upgradeable crossbows" its only effecting dwarven and steel types, any other bolts or crossbows are missing the enchanted vers.
I did run boss and reprocer after installing the mod btw.
Make sure boss sort the esp above reprocer. Otherwise reprocer will not patch the esp -> not add extra variants of bolts added by this mod. U can add a rule to boss manually if need to.
the description is shit. what means: pick one stats.xml and run reproccer...?????? WHERE TO I HAVE TO PUT stats.xml ?? replace it with my old? .... why cant ppl just to simple step by step manuals...
It was long time since I checked here or played my crossbow character for that matter. All I know is that something - be it unoff. skyre or skyrim patch - broke the bolts ( no recipe for stronger etc bolts ) and that annoyed me to the point that i just give up using xbows.
That patch did work at the time of upload is all i can say. If any of u experience problems with missing "stronger" and "Strongest" bolt recipes then they will be gone with or without this patch. What, where, why and how? woot? I rly dont care anymore sorry... the recipes for bolts added by this mod should still be there - no steel or dwamer tho
If it still work for any for ya then good. Otherwise you can blame the fact that while Skyrim progress with patches - well unofficial ones at least - SkyRe does not. I assume more and more things will stop to work correctly and we need to live with it.

b) Overwrite original esp with one in this "patch"
c)Run reprocer

Check if ur "vanilla" skyre crossbow bolt crafting perks work 1st. I assume they don't.
