MOD MOVED TO ANOTHER SITE. WHAT YOU SEE HERE IS OUTDATED AND WILL STAY THIS WAY (because author was banned from Nexus). Can't provide link, because Nexus rules forbid it, but you can google "BAT SCRIPTS COLLECTION BY ERUNDIL". There are a lot of changes and some fixes.
i had some hilarious things happen to me when i used this. for some reason theres 2 of my wife (ysolda) now. 1 that went back to the way she was b4 i married her that lives in her own house and 1 that still has the shop she starts after u get married but doesnt talk to me like we're married and lives in my house. also when i got remarried my daughter lucia (that got killed at some point during the 10+ times that vampires attacked when i went home) showed up dead and naked lying in the middle of the floor at my wedding. then when i went back home she appeared the same way lying in the middle of my house. i find it funny though cause every time im home my followers and ysolda walk up to her and say "im going to find whoever did this" and my other daughter walks up to her and screams "oh, a dead body".
Funny indeed. Anyway I don't feel responsible for it in any manner. Commands I use only work on quests and disposition, so Ysolda shouldn't get copied. Skyrim game is a buggy one, so things like that are to be expected even without mod conflicts. Also your dead daughter should not be respawning at all. Dead bodies are supposed to disappear after some time and never spawn again. I'd try disabling the fake Ysolda and dead Lucia or marking them for deletion. You can also try resurrecting Lucia. If that doesn't work - your savegame is broken and you probably won't be able to fix it.
lol im not worried about it. i just thought it was hilarious and had to share. in any case, it let me divorce her and get remarried which is exactly what it was supposed to do. as for disabling them or deleting them - how do i do that?
How to disable objects (NPCs, items, etc.): 1. Have an object within visual range and open console 2. Click an object you want to disable (recommended first person view to avoid clicking yourself) 3. type "disable" and press Enter (enable reverts the action, but you need to have the disabled object selected) After clicking an object, you will see its Ref ID. If you use SkyUI you will also see some other useful info. If you clicked yourself, Ref ID displayed will be 14 (appended with some irrelevant zeros) If you already know the Ref ID, you can use "prid" command instead of clicking an object. For example: clicking yourself = prid 14 = prid 00000014 = prid 014 = prid 0014 = ...
Disabled object can always be reenabled, assuming you remember its Ref ID, because deleted objects stay in your savegame (and they make it bigger). There is also markfordelete command that can be used instead. It removes the object completely (so savegame gets cleaned) but object deleted with this command can not be undeleted. Also deletion does not always happen instantenously. You may need to reload the area (move somewhere else) or save the game and load the save to see the changes.
Nope. Batch files are supposed to be in Data folder. Go and try it. It works. If you put them in root Skyrim folder, they shouldn't have a TXT extension (or any extension for that matter).
But good point about those pictures. I'll remove them from download.
anyway, works with latest Skyrim with all DLCs and 320+ mods.. Haven't tested with custom NPCs yet, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work (since it just resets quest).
I haven't tested that, but you shouldn't lose your children. My guess is based on these facts: - commands affect only marriage states - marriage has nothing to do with adoption, these are 2 independent things (you can adopt children with no spouse whatsoever)
Good to know. Thanks for the info. Then I'll disable "Download with manager". I've never used it, so I have no idea if there is any form of override to teach manager where to put BAT files...
I went through a lot of trouble to get Faralda to marry my altmer elf.. but it's nice to know if she becomes to scary or threatens to end me i can divorce her and reset her brain to simple vendor instructor.
thanks. never understood why Bethesda made an ingame feature for marriage but not for divorce even tho the commands for that exists (thru the console only atm). putting them all under one command is cool,

It works with manual install. Useful by the way.
