"As a perfectionist I always wanted to have my skill bars filled.
As a lazy person I tend to use some cheats for that."

sounds like a good title for an Isekai

MOD MOVED TO ANOTHER SITE. WHAT YOU SEE HERE IS OUTDATED AND WILL STAY THIS WAY (because author was banned from Nexus).
Can't provide link, because Nexus rules forbid it, but you can google "BAT SCRIPTS COLLECTION BY ERUNDIL". There are a lot of changes and some fixes.

There are 2 things that cross my mind:
      1) you misspelled the command, it's bat stats and bat perks
      2) you placed the TXT files from my mod in the wrong directory (they should go into Data folder)

Also it could be just Skyrim magic. The game does some unpredictable things at times.

And something else to consider that I think many detractors of these sort of mods don't realize. While it is true that for some people this mod may cause them to stop playing Skyrim sooner out of boredom (though they could deactivate it if they want a greater challenge and this still has nothing to do with any of us whether they play or not), there are some of us that ONLY continue to play Skyrim because of mods like this.

I don't speak for everyone, but I do assume there are others like me somewhere out there in our wonderful community, but I have played Skyrim with no mods and without cheats at least twice and it was fun, BUT if I had to grind like that every single time I started a new game, there is no way I'd still be playing right now.

When I was on the console, there were ways to cheat but even that was tedious so while the ability to cheat extended me playing Skyrim, I did stop because I didn't feel like doing all that stuff either each time I wanted to simply enjoy a different aspect of the story as a different character.

Some of us just don't have the time to grind up all our skills and levels 10+ times but still want to try various characters so keep that in mind as well when you're trying to bad mouth mods like this and keep in mind that just because something isn't to your taste it doesn't mean that it can't be someone else's favorite meal and it certainly doesn't mean that the chef (mod author) is a bad cook.

    ------------------------------
    -----------------------------------------

EDIT: GUESS WHAT GUYS! If this gives you too much power and or too many skills... you can just adjust the settings.

Don't want 99 in every skill but you want them in the warrior skills?

Want 100 in all skills instead?

    Only want some perks?

All you have to do is change the .txt file and it should work as it worked for me so now I am really REALLY happy with this mod as it saves me TONS (hehe, har har) of time.

    Thanks for this mod!

So true. BAT file is densely commented, almost every line has an explanation what it does, so editing it should be no problem. I encourage all of you to experiment with it.

Thanks erundil444 for the mod and for your notes in there. It definitely made things easier.

I wish this mod had existed before because man it would saved me a lot of time.

      Thanks again

It had, actually. I created it for my own use somewhere in December 2011, but I've never uploaded it. I thought anyone could make such file and use it, so... yeah. Seems like I was mistaken!

Well of course. This mod unlocks perks. It uses console commands, easy as can be. Doesn't do anything more, than you could have done using in-game console.
If you use mod that turns all the perks upside down, what the hell did you expect?
Not sure - troll or just stupid?

In my opinion, this kind of mod is precisely what the modding community doesn't need. For anyone who cares about the community as a whole feel free to read the link below. In essence mod authors have a responsibility to the game they mod for in creating a balanced adaptation of the original that doesn't detract from the experience. If your reaction to this is to simply state "Chill I'm just having fun" then I urge you to think about the consequences of such a fundamentally destructive mod.

Some people want maxed skills and perks to play any way they want to or to simply focus on the story/quests and not have to worry about "the perfect character creation."

      PS.
Why complain about this bat list file?? There is a category here on the nexus for cheats and god items... and no one is forcing you to download it. I have heard tthis exact same argument by people defenidng the tons of "skimpy/bikini/nude" mods here.

Persoanlly I believe those "skimpy/nude/bikini" mods should be removed/banned here because In my opinion, those kind of mods are precisely what the modding community doesn't need. Yes, some people do want to become god. But invariably after a short time they pack in Skyrim and move out due to boredom. This is because the game isn't giving them anything other than a disproportionate surge of power followed by a lull.
Despite the contextual similarities between this argument and others regarding bikini mods (as you pointed out with copy paste) this similarity does not devalue my stated opinion. As I said at the start of my post it's purely my opinion.
Also if you want easy then you can just play very easy by reducing the difficulty to "novice" you can play with your eyes closed.

You don't really become god with it. Remember, that most of enemies are on leveled lists, so since this BAT file sets your level to 100 the game may still prove difficult, when Elder Dragon spawns and you have completely no equipment whatsoever.
It doesn't break or destroy your game. It simply changes it's balance, moving it from heavy RPG to something between RPG and FPS/Hack'n'slash.

But I get it, you still think it's cheating. But hey, look at my stats. This is my only cheat-mod. Others are just utiities. And still this s#*! is the most popular. Looks like you have no idea how much people like cheating in their games and how much fun it gives them.
I for example "cheat" in this game since the very beginning in 11.11.11 and I'm still having a great time with it, experimenting with the world.

This is my response to not just you, but to others who share your opinion, Draiggonaxes.

First off, I’d like to apologize for my previous tone. I’m human. I get mad from time to time but that is no excuse and so I will apologize.

Regardless, I feel as though you posting your opinion here was unnecessary as much as it was disrespectful and I say that regardless as to your actual intent.

Mods are more than just programs. They are someone taking the time to share their creativity with us. And regardless as to how simple a mod may seem to us, no matter how useless it may be or seem to us, etc, etc… it isn’t necessarily easy for people to put themselves out there like that just so they canbe judged by the masses.

Now constructive and polite criticism is one thing, as that is meant to help the mod author, but saying their expression of creativity ruins the game if it does not actually ruin the game is just wrong. By actually ruin the game, I mean make it to where the game ceases to function and or operate properly by causing excessive and nonstop crashing, freezing, etc. Causing the game to no longer work properly as a matter of opinion does not qualify.

We all pay for our games (except for the pirates (the real people that hurt the community btw)) and as such, we are all entitled to making our own decisions when it comes to how we play our game without judgment from others. There’s a cool mod I saw that turns Skyrim into Super Mario or something. I will probably never download it personally because that isn’t a mod that fits into MY Skyrim, but there’s nothing wrong with those who would and have.

You know what really hurts our community? Posts like the one you made here because rather than encouraging diversity and encouraging those that have made mods for themselves to go ahead and release them to us, it causes people to not want to share and thus those of us who don’t share our preferences in mods are punished.

This mod may not be for you and of the 30,000+ mods out there, I would say most are not to your liking but so what? Who are we to judge the decisions of others when those decisions do not affect us or anyone else for that matter? This mod didn’t hurt your personal experience or change your game, but for some people out there, it made their experience great for them.

And so what if it bores them quicker? Can’t they just remove the mod and or not use it later? Who cares if they don’t bother to do so? Whether a person plays Skyrim for one month or one decade isn’t it just great to know that they did gain some enjoyment out of it?

So let’s just appreciate all the mod authors super skilled to the not so skilled. Let’s be grateful for all mods whether we personally would use them or not and for the love of all things, let’s just let every person decide for themselves what mods they want and only say something when we’re trying to help the modder and encourage them rather than be derogatory towards their work and efforts.

EDIT: My previous tone sucked marbles. I apologize and decided to reword my message.

I heartily endorse this well thought out post.

I use a starting character to beta test my mods, and any that I download. I use such a cheat to give him the brawn that might be necessary for moving about as I wish. I always recheck with another character that has advanced normally to at least level 20.

I am an avid hobby-modder, but have sadly come to care less about posting them.

      From the Read Me Section:

Max stats and full skill bars

First command should be used as soon as possible, e.g. just after entering Helgen Keep with Ralof or Hadvar.

      1. Open game console and type "bat stats" (it will set all stats to 99)
      2. Now go around your business and do stuff to get all skills to 100
      3. Make sure to spend all remaining perk points
      4. Type "bat perks" in game console - it will give you:
      - all perks (also werewolf and vampire perks, if you have Dawnguard)
      - level 100
      - 1000 points of Health, Magicka and Stamina
      - 9000 of Carry weight (which is set with special method, so it doesn't reset on savegame load)

I use a similar Mod....a Cheat Chest....and having played Skyrim as much as I have, I found I got pretty sick of the leveling grind and have played my last three games with the 'cheat chest' and a Perk Points giver....and these last three games IMHO have ROCKED!!.... ....It doesn't make you a God....I love challenge and a good hard fight and have two Mods that throw these challenges at me in spades. making my game exceedingly difficult....I love tactics and strategy. I find playing a seasoned Warrior out of the Helgen Gate gives a wonderful new RP opportunity and a whole lot of fun...I level him out with the skills he specializes in (brings him up to level 63) and drop in the leveling assure-ity measure of Fast Traveling him to another location outside of his current cell...wait 24 hours and then Fast Travel him back....this re-sets the NPC's and levels the world around him to match his own level.

This is a brilliant Mod you have come out with erundil....thank you....fantastic for people who like to use all the skills and run their game at a whole new level of difficulty and encounters from the beginning....Though I am happy with my Cheat Chest, just maxing the skills I want maxed, I will download your Mod and endorse anyway...thank you again erundil....

Thank you! I've played through skyrim a few times and I hate having to relevel up my character every single time. I kinda just want to walk around and kill stuff. This should be a big help (especially since I don't know what type of character I want to be this time)

Once again, thank you for taking the time to make this!

(All these other people are just haters! DOn't listen to them, keep doing what your doing)
