Yes, passing a mod trough TES5Edit is mandatory before making is available for download (As almost nobody can know better than the developer what need to be cleaned and what should be kept in).
This is awesome! Quick question: Does 'mining' the sand require a pickaxe? If so, could it be changed to a shovel? You could even use the animation from shoveling coal into the smelter I think. Still, finally another way to get glass!! Yay!
Assuming this does not change the normal mining activation you should take care to remain compatible with mods such as: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10690/? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26956/? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36750/?
Also, if you could support http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/193/? it would be nice, though it is a tall order. Great idea though! This beats using the cheat chests or console hands down.
It shouldn't need the "Glowing Ore Veins," as the textures tend to stand out anyway. If requested by others, though, I can add in my original texture, which I changed due to it being too bright and shiny. A handy tip, though: other than one vein near Lakeview and one near the Pale house(I can't even try to spell that right now, it's 1:15am for me), all the ore veins can be found on the shores of lakes or rivers. There are, however, a few secret locations.
I can personally confirm that all three of those should work just fine, as I haven't changed the activation setup. I use one of the "Extract Ore" mods, and have tested it out in my game.
1. Glass is traditionally made by melting down silica-based sand. My figure is, malachite produces a different type of glass that is stronger and sturdier, but opaque, as seen with the armor and weapons, whereas the glass used in displays is made from sand, producing a transparent, but more fragile material.
2. Not to get on your case, but you may want to double check your spelling. I'm not a grammar nazi, but I know that some people on Nexus are, and typing a bit more carefully may help to avoid future conflicts.
But, as a show of good faith, I will add an optional file using malachite rather than sand.
Very cool, i'll grab this when i decide to build a house again
Edit: Checked it out in Tes5Edit, did you intend to change the Steel Ingot Recipe? Looks like you deleted all entries in it. Should'nt matter tho unless the mod is placed high in the loadorder.
Downloading, installed, endorsing when I can, it's even a pain when you do a help "glass" and keep hitting pageup to scroll up and you still don't get the blasted reference id, now there's a legitimate way to get it besides buying it from a store, why has no one done this sooner?

Concentration.
Try to use ground and see.
Dirt is not sand, that being quite an basic point.

Simple yet it is great work.
