Damn it, and I thought I was done getting suckered in by mods!

On a more serious note: Shouldn't this have OCS as a master?

It probably should - you might have noticed a slip of the tongue when I said "Construction Set". Truth be told, I've not used the creation kit since Morrowind. Back then, you merely had to select all the dependent files and it would list them as masters.

But then again, if OCS' version updates and mine doesn't, there's no reason for why my mod should not work. But obviously if the filename changes, Surplus Trees will probably erroneously report a missing dependency. Perhaps it's better this way!

Oh, by the way, the latest OCS uses the enclosed cities during the civil war. Have you added these trees to the enclosed cities too? It'd be a little weird if the trees vacated during the battles xD

I'm not actually sure how that would work...

Fixed and updated. I wanted to thank you again - not only have you helped solve a potential problem before it arose, but the mod should now work both with and without OCS. I tested it just now; referencing missing cell names doesn't seem to induce any kind of crash! I'll do a little more testing to make sure.

Now this, is mitigating a potential mod problem before it happened haha.
To be fair it really doesn't make sense that trees would pack up their things and go just like the NPCs.

I liked the look of this mod. Been using WhiterunTrees for years. But it looks like the updates to OCS and to the mods using OCS have no patch for this mod. My FPS bogs down when NPCs try to stand where trees are.

I absolutely love how amazing Whiterun looks. I've been trying to find a way to improve my Whiterun forever now. Are you planning to do the other cities as well?

Hey man, great work on Whiterun!

Just a quick question, what ENB are you using on the images? I searched 'K ENB' but nothing came up

My whiterun is so beautiful with your mod.
It changes the feeking we have about this town.
the streets seem narrower, more bucolic.
Combined with a city mod, that's paradise!
    thanks

Should this be compatible with "Simply Bigger Trees"?

I just want to say your title/cover image is very well done, and genius the way you had the nexus gray integrated. Very artistic.

Bravo, bravo! This is a fantastic mod!! I really hope you gain the motivation (or anger haha!) to finish up the other cities too, too, because this truly makes a world of difference. One thing, though: would you ever consider putting up separate files for less trees, and add in some pine trees too? Cause the variety of green would be really nice, personally.

Again, thanks! I'm glad at least someone is trying to make mods for OCS! I look forward to you updating this to even more awesome levels!

Oh, and more thing - Endorsed!

      Hey there!

Well, another person considered additional MCM compatability. I agreed; it's an amazing idea! But as I said to them, part of why my mod is so compatible is because I keep it simple - it literally is just a plugin file that places a bunch of meshes, in static places, made in the same style we used to make back in the Morrowind modding era. That is, before any graphic or script extenders were even so much as considered.

What you MIGHT wish to consider is a complete texture and/or mesh replacer! I'm damn sure someone would have thought of a "green skyrim" mod by now... I mean, s#*!, there's even a "green fallout" mod for fallout 3!

In time, after I complete the inital "treebombing" of the most offensive towns, I'll consider MCM compatibility. But, knowing me, I'll probably just code a custom installer from scratch via executable installer. That way, even people who don't use a mod manager/mod organizer can use it. And hopefully, there'll be a way to integrate it with NMM/wyre bash too.

But I'm getting really really ahead of myself here - thanks for the input! And sorry for the late reply!
