    In response to post #10133505.

Yep, they are exactly as in vanilla game. You can craft them, improve them and enchant them, too.

Perfect. Hoping to try these "within" Engelmann Rest ... ASAP ...

I will download, but I won't use the esp. that you implemented if that is OK with you, I want to make it my own with some of my own preferences, I won't upload it or anything or take credit, as I won't be showing it, unless I do a YV (Youtube Video) and it is what I am using, then I will credit you for making it and put a link in the description, and I will tell them I added my own preferences to it to make it look less plastic and more realistic. Great work by the way, endorsed.

Also for all those who download manually, but are new to it, this is how you can make it work properly every time.

    • Drag the .zip, .rar, .omod, .exe, .7z (mod file) into your desktop
    • Open the mod file
    • Check for Data folder (if there isn't one make new folder on the desktop called Data and drag everything from the mod file into the Data folder) (If .esp file isn't in the Data folder put it in there)
    • Open The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim game folder
    • Copy and paste Data folder (from desktop) into Archive
    • Drag Data folder (from desktop) into The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim game folder and merge both Data folders
    • Open Skyrim Launcher and play the game

It still feels more plastic than metallic.
I like the style of the two handed one.
I also expect the blood will be on the blade when fighting.

Im at the spot where the weapons are supposed to be and they aren't there. Any reason why?

Oh man, those swords are exactly the style of weapon that Ive been looking for on the nexus. Gonna give it a whirl asap, and will definately be looking out for updates. Nice work man

And I'm no modder, but yeah, when people say hi res they usually expect 2k textures.

Hi, everybody. I did an update, as requested:
    -Added in the 2048 x 2048 textures.
-Adjusted all maps so that all weapons now feels more metallic, I hope.
    -Added in the Dark Sword.

Let me know if there are any problems.

Also, since I haven't been doing any modding work ever, I have a few questions about how Skyrim Nexus works:

-When doing an update, I uploaded the .7z file that had the exact same name as the previous version (PP_Weapon.7z). But, in the file list, it was showing 2 versions: older from 18th of June and current one from 20th of June. Then, I deleted the older version. Is that a proper way to do updates? If not, please let me know how it should be done.

-When using the term 'high res' for weapon textures, are people usually referring to 2048 x 2048 or to 1024 x 1024 size? Just to note that most Bethesda weapons are using 512 x 512 textures.

I'll track this and see what it expands into. As is I don't see me DLing, even though the weapons so far do look nice. Kudos.

models look good, Elvarheim polycount for the blade was 1200 more or less.
normal looks like baked wich is good, and textures are good, very detailed but 512 is way too low, really you should rebake at 2048 and retexture it (don't just upscale) because 512 doesn't hold much detail.
so my recommendation is just remake the texture part at 2048 and will look very very very good, good luck with it
also i see you have full white on specular and env on some parts, that can hide all diffuse info to my knowledge. i'd recommend never use full white.
And if you can put in a hi res cubemap
