bugs: Hjaalmarch is misspelled. Rorikstead is misspelled. The Pale is mislabeled. The Rift is subtly mislabeled.
i would love to use this mod, as i prefer the paper texture over the one from HQ Skyrim Map by Padyy86. this also fits better with the various paper mods here on the Nexus, such as Books Notes Paper HD by Mactac.
however, it's really ridiculous to have such obvious spelling errors **on a map** that, by its own claimed lore, is drawn by **a cartographer**. all Elder Scrolls lore indicates that, unlike Shakespeare and his contemporaries, Tamriel's writers use consistent spelling. sorry, but these errors are too blatant to be overlooked. fix these bugs, and i will gladly return with usage and endorsement!
This may sound like a silly question, but does this improve the ress of your actual map, the one which you hit 'm' to open it. Not just the map shown in the pics? Thanks in advance!
Very good, but how could you get Hjaalmarch wrong? I mean, when all you do is improve the resolution, how could you possibly get a writing error? I agree, it does like a small problem, but the court wizard isn't likely to write the name of a hold wrong, is he? It's like if I were to write Trøndelag (Yes, I'm Norwegian), or maybe Florida or Washington wrong. It's not a very important hold (neither the main quest nor the civil war quests mention it), but it's a hold of equal size to Eastmarch. I'll probably download it anyway, but I'm not going to endorse it. Yet.
Now the texts are the same as the map that you can easily find on the net. This map is a wrong translation from Russian. I'm working now on a new version with the correct names and the correct fonts.
I love your mod, however can we still expect a fix for wrong names ? I wish to keep your beautiful map rather than uninstalling it. You already have my endorsement ">
