It has occurred to me that clipping ears may not just be limited to the glass helmet. If you come across clipping ears with any of the other helmets, please let me know and I will add them to this fix.
Update: I have uploaded a new version that includes fixed better fitting meshes. They should now use the normal map.
Update 2: I have uploaded the compatibility patches for the Amidianborn Book of Silence. Details on the description Page.
Update 3: I have added support for the aMidianborn Content Addon. I built it with the Improved closefaced helmets version of the plugin but I think it should work with both. Please let me know if it doesn't.
I don't believe your amidianborn meshes are needed since that mod currently uses an esp to direct the new variants to the vanilla glass helmet mesh. So basically all that's needed is your vanilla mesh fix. BTW not sure why you need an esp to fix a mesh, but I'll find out soon enough I guess haha.
hey man love your mod and i understand that you would like to do this mod on other helmets eh? so here's a challenge, why don't you cover all of those in the improved closed faced helmet mod eh? almost all of them have clipping issues and you will be doing a great service on the skyrim community so what do you say? up for my challenge?
So I'm using aMidianBorn golden style for glass armor. Is it "lore version" or "standart"? I use only texture pack, no .esp. Or I just must choose main file? That's it?
I don't know how to fix meshes and it looks like all of those issues are just bad meshes. If it is something I can fix with the CK then I can take a look at it.
It should work with any mod that simply replaces the textures, but if that mod includes a plugin that changes what textures/meshes the helmet uses then you won't get to use the meshes from this mod. I will have a look at Cabal's mod though as I know his re-texture comes with such a plugin.
Update: I have made a patch for both of Cabal's esp's, I am just waiting for permission to upload them. I am having a bit of trouble with the meshes though. The better fitting meshes seem to be broken in that they don't seem to be utilizing the normal map.
Update 2: Have managed to fix the meshes so compatibility patches are incoming.
They did that with vanilla textures too so it wasn't really a compatibility issue. I could see how you might think that though, Cabal's normal map is much more obvious.
Ah, thank you! I like the way the helm fits in the other mod, but no way was my poor Dunmer going running around northern Skyrim with his ears sticking out. BRRRR.

There are also some issues with hairs and clipping steel armors to fix in the original game
See here f.e.: http://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php?/tracdown/issue/12057-some-meshes-seethroughs/

Yeah, that was what I was referring to. I'm glad you figured out how to fix that, cause I never did.
