What a great little addition. I've always felt that even though Skyrim is a "rough" land, who wants to get rained/snowed on & burnt to a crisp by the sun while traveling?
Those wanting an HD cover will either have to hope one gets uploaded here or do it yourself.
The files you're looking for are called: "vendorcart01.dds" and "vendorcart_n.dds" located in the "textures/clutter/carts" folder of certain mods like: Langleys Textures Workshop - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26269/? NobleSkyrimMod - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45807/?
You need to install those files only with a Mod Organizer and rename them to "carriagecart01.dds and "carriagecart01_n.dds" or if installing manually, rename those files and throw them in the data directory.
Langleys is an orange 2k version and NobleSkyrimMod is a black 1k version. NobleSkyrimMod didn't have the normalmap last I checked but you can use the normalmap from Langleys if you want the added detail.
Hey! I was in Whiterun (I have JK's mod) and noticed this covered part of the carriage he has for decor near the entrance. Good thing to note that it'd apply to that carriage as well, but not the little one next to it. Also, I wondered if anyone knew of a way to replace this cover with the one being used in JK's Whiterun mod? It's a nice white cover. Thanks! http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56639/? for reference.
Edit: I found an easy way! If you have JK's Whiterun and this installed, just search through your textures for "cart" and Carriagecart01 and _n will pop up. The one I had in my BSA was from JK's whiterun, and I just renamed and replaced the one from this mod in my data directory. Hope that makes sense.
its not in my mods scope to merge those 2 carriages into one u can use the TC version and the SMIM version side by side but the TC carriage will look vanilla and not use SMIM stuff
I'm sure I've used either scenic or touring carriages with the SMIM version, wanted this mod as I use Frostfall (to look a lttle more protected from rain or snow) and I don't think I had any problems.
