Great mod Unfortunately I am having a problem, the spell used to change the staff's 'mode' doesn't work. I may be using it wrong, but it just gives the 'changing staff of magnus' status effect for a second and then does nothing. Could you give more info on how the switch spell works or perhaps find a fix? Also I'm also having problems with the staff not playing it's cast sound,though i'm using 2 other mods for the staff so I'll check those out as well. Regardless this is the best balanced mod for the Staff of Magnus on the nexus and i'm really glad you made it!
Can you also add an option to change the staff into a two-handed melee weapon, as with the Battlestaffs of SkyRe (it uses the Battleaxe weapon type for this). As a Battlemage who is experimenting with using melee staves from this mod, I would very much appreciate being able to use the Staff of Magnus in this way
Hey, I really like the changes with this mod, makes the staff useable without feeling cheap/op.
But there is one bug I've noticed that I wanted to report here for you. Basically what the bug is, is it will cast soul trap on furniture. Like for example, I hit the bench in the arch mages quarters with it, and it turns purple, doesn't seem to expire either.
With this mod installed, the staff of Magnus does not make sound anymore.
The only sound played is the "impact" sound where the ray hit a wall or anything. But the staff itself does not make any sound when firing. Very annoying :/.
depending on dificulty like legendary its basically useless if ya ask me :-/ almost all artifacts are + with all the monster mods and such to make things harder yours might aswell be a vanilla one :-)) vanilla value i think was 20 health and 20 magicka anyways i made mine take 200 of magicka and health and it was still weak well on most high end mobs and dragons anyway tho that is my configuaration i have over 240+ mods installed on easy it basically kills everything lol anyways u should make an OP version aswell :-)) for vanilla your damage boost is ok aslong as its not legendary
ps my version was infinite charge aswell :-) like it should be because a piece of magnuses Esscence is supposedly powering it aswell and hes a god
thanks for feedback! i dont want to make an op version becouse fighting with morokei will be basicly impossible, instead i plan on making a transmutation spell that uses 1000 mana and gives you a OP version of the staff. Sounds good?
