havent opened it yet but it seems like a great mod i always wanted a nice home with the ability to put dragon mask and craws etc... in it thanks keep updating
I tried putting a few followers into this place. For some reason they are unable to sleep on the beds other than the one in the master bedroom (the bed with this roof or whatnot). The holders for the larceny items don't seem to work either. I tried the Gray Fox bust and the left eye of falmer.
I can certainly understand that. I spent the weekend converting Honningbrew Meadery into a new house (I am not good at creating from scratch), mostly because I want a place that I have have an armory the way I want it. And now I am frustrated since I did not work on any quests because of this.
I was curious where you got your textures for the floors. They are lovely, and if they are available I would like to use them in my boudoir. After all, what is the point in building a house (even a really simple one) if you cannot decorate it how you want.
I completely understand! In fact, I think I created this mod because my husband and I are in the beginnings of our house hunt and I just couldn't wait to decorate a house in real life. The floors I used are in game; they are the flooring for the ship Katariah I believe. I still haven't played the game. I was so excited about this new modding stuff that I had an idea for a companion/quest mod, so I've started on that. SO much more to learn! Let me know when your house mod is finished; I'd love to see it!
Is there any way to make this mod work w/o Dragonborn, hearthfire, or dawngaurd installed. Im stoked to see a player house mos somewhere other than whiterun. Every one I have seen in the last 6 months places their mod right on top of the BBLS.
You don't need Dragonborn, but you do need Hearthfire and Dawnguard. I'm not sure if or when I'll get around to de-DLCing it. I guess it sort of depends on how much demand there is for it. I originally made it for me, and I play with all the DLC.
I'm sorry about that. Are you using any lighting mods? If there is anything in my mod that would cause a CTD, I think it would have to be lighting related. Are you using the 1.0 version? There was an issue in that area with the previous upload that I resolved, but it wasn't anything that should cause a CTD, I don't think. Still, maybe it's worth a try. I'm afraid I am just not very knowledgeable; I apologize for not being more helpful!
