Not only did I get the double sheath mod working for this guy but it made experience of following Mihailmods' Slender Man quite interesting with Deadpool saying things like "How'd Skyrim ever survive without me in it?" and "Me on the next Elder Scrolls cover Bethesda, right? Right?" And it's true, that's excellent voice acting, almost as if Nolan himself was voicing the character
FYI to all Skyrim SE users. DO NOT TRYING INSTALLING THIS MOD MANUALLY AS NOT ONLY WILL IT NOT WORK, BUT WILL CAUSE YOUR GAME TO NOT LOAD AT ALL. I wasted about 2 days trying to fix this only to figure out it was something so simple. :P
LOVE this mod! I like how his armor is made of retextured vanilla items. he is clearly recognizable, yet does not stand out obnoxiously and very nearly looks like he actually belongs in Skyrim. The custom animations are well done. Functionality-wise, he is a good follower and very useful. He's powerful, but not overly so. His skills are well-balanced with the Dragonborn's, so he doesn't slow the player down or steal all his/her kills. The voice acting is phenomenal. It sounds very much like Nolan North's Deadpool voice, but has a certain unique quality as well, which gives the player a sense of how much work was put into it. His dialogue lines are well-written, hilarious, and completely in-character for the Merc with the Mouth. I won't quote him here for the benefit of those who haven't yet experienced them firsthand, but I will say I am particularly fond of the dragon-fighting lines. The only "bug" I've found is that when I wear Deadpool's armor, the Deadpool Mask doesn't seem to count as Light Armor for the Custom Fit perk, so I get more armor points from wearing a different Light Armor headpiece than I do from wearing the full Deadpool armor set. Overall, this is an awesome mod and thus far, one of my favorites. To be honest, I can't stand vanilla Skyrim followers (except Serana; I'm not sure if she counts as vanilla or not), but I could get used to sharing my adventures with Deadpool! Thanks for making this!
the reason for that is that the mask has keywords for heavy armor, instead of light armor, easy thing to change in TESVEdit Load this mod in TESVEdit, go into Armor section, choose DeadpoolMask, head down to KWDA - Keyword section and change first record from: ArmorHeavy [KYWD:0006BBD2] to ArmorLight [KYWD:0006BBD3] - this should make it count for the Light Armor Custom Fit perk
How have I not seen this mod sooner!? The voice acting is on. Freaking. Point. It does sound like Nolan North, as someone else mentioned, but still retains its own unique flavour. And it's Deadpool, so...it's canon. Everything that fourth-wall-aware lunatic does is canon. I'm going to justify it as Doctor Strange getting sick of Wade's sh*t and zapping him off to the first place he reached out to, which just happened to be Nirn.
considering the file was uploaded in 2013 and Nolan North voiced Deadpool in the game at that time that's kinda normal for him not to sound as Ryan Raynolds
