Just pointing out the obvious (because it eluded me for a while):
You may need to adjust the Raven Rock faction to begin with the number assigned to the Dragonborn DLC in your load order. Since BOSS and LOOT sort the unofficial patches differently these days. :3
For me it went from 04 to 07, and I'd assume that would apply to anyone with all the DLCs plus all the official patches in the correct order.
Easy enough to check via console and edit the batch file.

While I get into a lot less trouble these days, I still rely on having this wonderful tool at hand. <3

I will definitely look into that, thanks! I suck at scripting, but been trying to turn this lowly little batch file into a spell for some time now.

I've tried the command bat clearmyname a few times. The console always tells me that command doesn't exist...

Make sure that you unzip the files into the same directory as your Skyrim executables, and NOT in the data directory.

Even though I downloaded this file, Nexus tells me I have not and so I cannot endorse it except by this post. In my last game, I had run afoul of some faction (think my companion did not flee fast enough to please the Stormcloaks) and I could not seem to change it except with this bat file. Essential file if you need it.

I've been using this from day one of my Skyrim play and I would have been hassled to death without it. Such a lifesaver for someone who has no idea why people hate her so much. XD

Okay, this may have been before I figured out what constitutes trespassing and when my itchy trigger finger accidentally stole things. >_> (Before I started my thieving career in earnest, I mean.)
But it really saved my hide when one of my quests bugged and an entire city was after me.

It also proved invaluable during my shouting accidents, such as when a guard would doubt my abilities as the Dragonborn and I decided to show them to him. I had no idea he would take it as an act of aggression, honestly! Heh.

Such a simple thing, yet so priceless.

Heh. Glad you enjoy it, thank you.

There is truth to the lore story in the description, btw. I was fighting lil' Miss Unbroken and would up cold-cocking Saadia by accident. Next thing you know, I'm rolling back to a previous save, exiting the game, and making this 'mod'.

would love a version as a spell for my necro....tired of having guards and others passing in front of me while i'm trying to get that last fireball to finish off that dragon and the next thing I know my thralls and the guards are going toe to toe (although it probably wouldn't work as the thane card doesn't fix that issue either)
oh and yes my necro uses the destruction school spells cause I havint found a decent necro mod that enables mu;ltiple thralls while also dressing them as I wish and having some sort of poison/disease spell in the conjuration line

I'm actually working with the CK and tutorials right now on making books, etc., and coding this up as a spell *would* be a cool idea. Sort of like Obi-Wan's mind trick he pulled on the Stormtroopers...mage waves his hand and says "I am not the Dovakiin you are looking for. I can go about my business. move along." lol

    @chaophim:
This sounds like a great little cheat.
I've been looking for a while now for a "personal criminal fine/bounty" 'aiding or easing' mod similar to this, but not to totally eliminate your bounty(ies), and without the need to use the console "~".

My thoughts were simply to have a few various shady "Fence/merchant" NPCs, some with the Thieves' Guild, and some useful 'independent' operators, lurking in certain taverns, towns and villages to also offer, besides their other services, a "discount" of up to, say, 60% when you go to pay your fines/bounties to them.
(Similar to Oblivion, they've got some good connections, obviously!)
.....But: ONLY once you've given them enough business, potential favors, and general good cheer, that is, thus forcing you to earn this privilege.
Do you think this might amount to some "good honest work" by the Dovakiin to allow him/her to be even more diabolically dishonest at a discount?

    Cheers!

If I were an actual modder (batch files are one thing...Creation Kit is a wholly different matter), I would love to do something like you described.

@ silvershade: (like your name, sounds kinda mystical/fantasy-like.....)
I have seen that "Leveler's Tower" already, and it's really cool as well, but, I don't really want to cheat.....well, at least not to THAT extent.....Lol!

@chaophim: Don't feel so bad....I'm no better with the CK myself....

      Cheers!

I looked at Leveler's Tower. Like AmadanBezerk, I don't want to cheat (at least not to that extent...lol...mine is a cheat file, so I won't be a hypocrite) and I have enough problems with lockups and CTD's that I hit my back button rather quickly when half of a mod's description page seems to be dedicated to troubleshooting, mod-stacking to "make it work", and/or if many of the comments reflect the same type of signs.

Looks like a cool mod - might try it out later after I've finished the vanilla to 100% (per my Prima checklist, not counting Dragonborn) as well as my current 3rd-party quests. (I am addicted to Alternate Start and Helgan Reborn...lol)

      @chaophim:
Unless "Alternate Start" mods are VERY carefully built, they sometimes have a nasty history of breaking some, if not a LOT of vanilla quests later on, so I've always been paranoid about them in general, and thus avoided even the "Safe" ones like the plague.
That "Helgen Reborn" mod, on the other hand, looks and sounds very interesting.......

BTW: forgot to say: I liked your rather embarrassing 'Cluster-Murphy' of a story....("Cluster-Murphyisms" are WAY worse than standard, singular "Murphyisms", aren't they?)....It's hard not to laugh, but I just can't help thinking of that poor, decked barmaid's now-no-so-pretty face.....ouch!
"By Lord Talos! I'm sooo sorry! Are you alright??" (you crouch down beside her)

(Next thing you see is an explosion of pretty little stars as you get clocked brutally upside yer skull from behind, with a heavy, solid pewter tankard from some massively-enraged patron, probably a friend or relative of hers with YOUR luck.
And now, this brawl has just escalated big time! Just greaaaat!)
      Lol! Cheers!

Sad thing is, it's a true story. I was brawling with Rolff Stone-Fist in the inn, fully peaked PLUS wearing the Gauntlets of the Pugilist (hey, he said 'no magic or weapons', but the game didn't un-equip them, so it's fair, right?) and he sidestepped as I lunged and she loomed close. Anyway, poor barmaid was damn near an insta-kill. I use the enhanced blood mod, so yeah - she didn't die, but didn't look happy/healthy either. Things went downhill from there.

I like the idea. but it occurs to me that you can stash stolen goods (and drugs) somewhere then go pay your fine. if you run and jump fast enough the guards can't catch you. (that's why i get sprint mods)

Also easy place to stash is a giant camp. no one checks there

I tried that both with the vanilla game and with the Instant Merchant (Goonie) mod (I *so* wish that was available on Nexus...hate using the Steam Workshop) to hold my stolen gear, but it kept getting zapped. Began to wonder if they used search warrants. LOL
