This looks like the perfect home for a young warrior. Not large, beautiful layout, and looks truly comfortable. I like this, good job!

It looks like a nice, cute little house. As others suggested, I'd personally make it look a bit messier. I say this because you want to attract people to download it and if it's too neat, they may not want to. Remember: you may like things a certain way but when you are offering a mod to the public, it would be best to set it up in a way that the majority of players would like.

That being said, I'd be happy to contribute by putting a navmesh inside and making it work so that followers will follow the player into Heartwarmer Cottage. Also, if you were looking to store more than 6 books, I can adjust it for you. As an example, my mod, Razortooth Hall, has 2 bookcases. Each one has 3 shelves and each shelf holds 18 books... 96 books in all in just 2 bookcases!

Anyways, good luck and if I can help in any way, let me know.

When I downloaded this mod, all that was inside the file was 4 .bak files...

Thanks for the offer but I think this is a big learning opportunity for me. So hopefully I can do it.

Sounds good. Just remember... when creating the navmesh, try to create as few triangles as possible. You'll see what I mean when you start "laying down some navmesh". Have fun and good luck!

HeavyMetal5467 - Take one of the 4 BAK files and remove the .bak from it to be left with an ESP file. Then, compress the ESP file and then apply it using the Nexus Mod Manager. If you arent using NMM, then just take the ESP file and put it in your DATA folder. Note: Since there are 4 different files (or more), you'll have to choose which one to use. I just looked at the date and time each was last modified and chose the latest one.

Has anyone else had this problem?

"if you follower doesn't follow you in to the house then there is nothing I can do about it, sorry" - Actually, there is, have a look on the Creation Kit tutorials for how to use the "Navmesh" tool. That is what allows NPC's to move around the world properly. Like it was previously said, it is quite orderly. People like a home that looks like it's been lived in; books laying around, buckets, sweeping brushes etc. Maybe a separate room for smithing stuff (instead of on the dining table). It's a nice place to put a house actually, and I think if you made it more "homely" it'd be really good. Also, how about expanding it into a farm, given it's location?

Thanks for the suggestions. Very helpful. I will look into "Navmesh" and try to update. I really like the farm idea aswell. Cheers

You do not have to keep it the way it is, I just made it neat so it was easy to see everything. I am also a very neat person so I make things like that in real life anyway. Sorry to dissapoint you.
