This was fixed in the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, making this mod mostly obsolete.
It would be nice to mention it in the description, as this mod would only be used by those who do not want USKP.
If users still experience this issue with USKP, they should first check their load order for things that overwrite USKP's files and then apply appropriate compatibility patches.
Actually, I was after this mod specifically for removing the effect from spriggans (since I have one as a follower). The glowing wood that makes up their body is nice, but the low poly neon green leaves look strange.

Thank you very much! For someone that's stuck with the effect and not the witchlight spell, it's very useful. There's still a problem of the green cloud-orb stuck to the feet, but at least it's not as annoying in 1st person as the leaves were.
I got to the point where I had deleted my saves to save some HDD space. I'm using an 80gig SSD and i've only got like 5 gigs left on it so I deleted my other saves. Then... like 5 minutes later I got this glitch. I had other saves on a thumb drive but they were from like 13 hours before and i wasn't willing to back that far. Maybe it's time to start a new character XD
Yeah sexchange works but when you go back to first person the leaves come back. I attached a video showing my problem. I wish sexchange would work though, could have saved me some time.

I don't know the name of that spell. I dont think it works like that because I dont believe it is a spell the player can acquire. If you find the name of it please let me know so I can try it out.
