I would also like to use this as a player house, however I think it's a tad small, there was so much more scope to have made it bigger. This is a great idea and an excellent mod.

The way it works is that it will respawn until you actually start using it. Once you begin to store stuff in there it will not delete your saved ingredients or anything else. If that is not the case, please let me know and I will look at it in more detail.

I did start using it and lost everything. The other storage seems to be fine, but I'm an alchemist. I saved my stuff so I really didn't lose it all.. Could you look at it and make sure?

Edit- it happened a second time...I just wanted to check so I put my stuff in the satchel and some time later it was gone and all that was there was the 3 things you had in there so its respawing and not a safe storage.

      thanks.

I noticed the same behavior in my game, too. Also with the knapsack in the clean version. I'll be working on some updates in the next few days.

I uninstalled it, but i'll use it when its fixed.. I really like this, but I'm weird about things in my player homes. All the weapon racks and storage have to work.

      thanks

I would really like to use this player home, the respawning storage is stopping me. Any chance your going to fix it? Its been a while and I think this is a really good mod...why let this stop people from using it..

This fits into the game very well, you have great modding skills. And the trap door was very hard to find, even after I cast night eye lol. The lower chamber does offer some freebies but not over the top and not too many, this is balanced nicely. I look forward to yet another secret entrance from the quarters to a complex hideout.

Given the abandoned nature of the upper house itself I'd say do away with some or all of the lit candles/chandelier, the darkness and eerie nature of the house is very cool and requires the player to use a light source (love that blue lighting btw). Also, did you intend the reversed armoire with weapon plaques to still be selectable/storable? Almost forgot, I had a follower in tow when I approached, she would not enter the house, after several attempts, not a big deal though.

Will definitely be following your mods, thank you.

As far as followers entering, the navmesh on the exterior was painfully difficult to work with. It seemed kind of buggy to me when I was trying to fix it but couldn't get it done. At any rate, I will re-address it now that I've got the rest of the house finished and published.

The armoire thing is a little bit technical. The walls that I chose to work with are unusually deep in the sense that the wooden supports stick out so far from the wall. I think it gives it a good look for an underground structure, especially when I mirrored the bottom floor to the top, but it does create an unusual problem. Because of that depth, any plaques or racks (etc) stuck directly to the wall would not function correctly. You could place the weapon on the plaque but were unable to remove it without turning off clipping and going around to the outside of the wall and removing the weapon from the backside. So putting the back of the armoire there was basically a workaround. It gave me a flat surface outside of the wall's clipping area that I could attach the plaques to and they would function properly. I enjoyed the look of the walls a lot so I didn't want to give them up for this mod. At any rate, I would prefer if the armoire were not accessible, so if I release an update I would recommend that you remove all your saved items from it before doing so just in case I am able to fix it and still have the plaques accessible. (Even if you didn't remove your items I would expect you could turn off clipping to access it from behind, but better to play it safe)

Incidentally, I rotated the two vertical plaques to opposing directions, so if you mount two bows on them it looks great when they're facing each other.

Thanks for your kind words regarding my abilities. I feel like I'm more of an amateur when it comes to the other house mods I've seen because I don't make any custom textures or anything like that. I like to think I do a good job working with the vanilla components of the existing game. But I also feel that by working with the vanilla components, none of my mods ever look or feel out of place in the world of Tamriel, which is absolutely a goal of mine.

I like the idea of making it even darker in the abandoned part. Also I'll be changing what the plaques are mounted on downstairs. Added to my to do list.
