For anybody interested in hoods, you k out Grace Darklings Mods, I believe he has one that offers hair under hoods. Hoods are like the black and white hat/bandana very close to the head, and clipping would be very noticeable.
You would have to go in and set the hood to show it. This mod doesn't work with other mods.
You need to go into CK. Look for the hood in Amor, and Armor addon. if you click the helmet under armor, you will see hair highlighted, unhilight it, and highlight circlet ears and long hair. hit ok. then click on the helmet for armor addon, make sure all four are highlighted.
If it doesn't work, you might have to play with highlighting and un highlighting, or if the helmet is established under a race.
Just want to tell people that my mod is redone. With only one major flaw, with the falmer helmet it seems to be working really great. This mod now makes alternate version of the orginal helmets and hats so that they show hair underneath them. This will not affect NPCs anymore and ruin any type of immersion.
Thank you for all the feedback and for your interest in my mod. Also don't forget to endorse.
Also if there is a helmet or hat you would like to have I will add it, as long as its within the orginal game and dlc, not mods, but I will add a read me on how to do it yourself in creation Kit.
Some of you actually liked the replacer version, so I will add a replacer version aswell.
Hi, may i have permission to have this ported to beth.net for xbox users? Providing full credit + a link to nexus. There aren't really many other options currently available for this,if any at all, for xbox ppl
Hmm i love the idea, and this is the only mod that allows it. But i cant get it to work for the life of me.
When i install the replacer i cant equipt the helmet. ( It makes the sound but does not get equiped ) Same goes for the version with Dawnguard/Dragonborn/Vanilla. ( Same problem it makes the equip sound but nothing happens )
Just wanted to say this mod is exactly what I needed, thank you so much. It's a small thing but I had this hat I really wanted to use for my character, but I hated that it made her look bald. Now it doesn't anymore! Huzzah!

This is what I had to do in my mod.
Good luck.
And to anyone reading this who isn't comfortable with delving into the CK, it is extremely easy to make the same changes with TES5Edit.
