I would use this if the animations were unique to only the player. The new stance befits an experienced adventurer, or an Imperial Soldier, but not a raggedy bandit, or Forsworn. I used to use it until I saw Forsworn and Stormcloaks in the stance.
Thanks krish698 Endorsed! Also working with SSE though requires a little trick also since there's no permission listed, I assume that it's free to be re-uploaded in SSE by other users then but ofc all credits will be gone to you. Nvm found the permission at the description, silly me :s
This is wonderful thank you. Do you know how to make this animation an attack animation replacer? I renamed the animations but i'm having trouble getting it to work right. Thanks again.
I particularly like this mod, it feels significantly better than the vanilla animation. I do have one question though, do you think you could provide a link to the videos you mentioned in the description? I am very curious on the subject of this particular stance, but I can't seem to find any information regarding its weaknesses in one on one combat on the internet (which is ironic, as there are entire websites dedicated towards it, yet they don't seem to mention the weaknesses of the stance in comparison to a later medieval sword and shield stance.)
I do like how someone is attempting to put a little bit of history into Skyrim. Even though it is fantasy it makes be glad to see people attempt to put in a little bit of realism.
Great mod so far. But i have a little problem, in videos i see there is a move-blocking animation. For me it's not working. If i move (no matter in which direction) my Character puts the shield down. Someone maybe has a solution? (Of course i looked in 3rd P.view)
make sure you install fnis, then open up your skyrim directory>data>tools>GenerateFNIS_for_Users>and run generatefnisforusers.exe and make sure to check the skeleton arm fix. generate, then make sure the plugin is checked in nmm. this solved it for me. or it could just be random luck lol.
Is it just me or is there no animation for blocked walking? Phalanx stance only shows when I stand still. Does it conflict with combat idles even after I load this one after it?
