i can make them follow me fine, and set their home, but they won't come into houses etc....but when i tell them to go home they just disappear completely
When I have a husky following me there is no dialogue to tell them to leave, only "wait here" and "you know..." (which I assume is part of another mod I have). I also can't talk to Shadow, which is a shame because he's my favourite of them all
If you're using a follower mod like AFT then you can use that to make Shadow follow you. I have the same problem so that's the solution I came up with.
I would like to start by saying i love the mod, the husky dogs are really cool and not to over powered, also the fact that they dont come inside with me is excellent because companions always get in my way in dungeons etc and dogs shouldnt be inside peoples homes anyway. But unfortunately alot of us are having the same problem, For me i can only talk to Ghost. Even with UFO i cannot recruit the others because the dialogue simply wont happen. I tried doing the console command but that also didn't work. I really just want to get Ghost, Falcon, Orion and Shadow and have them Chilling around my Elysium Estate Home (My favourite Home mod ever, i recommend it to anyone, The creator really done some excellent work). So my question is, Has anyone found a way to fix this problem we are having where only one dog will talk? Thanks again for the mod i still F**king love it!
I found a way to use Shadow. Sort of. Basically what I did was use Shadow's textures on another dog.
1) Go to "Data\Textures\actors\dlc01\armoreddog\" and backup huskyorion.dds and huskyorion2.dds. It can be any dog, we're just replacing the textures. 2) Delete both of the files. 3) Make copies of huskyshadow.dds and huskyshadow2.dds, then rename them to huskyorion.dds and huskyorion2.dds respectively. If you chose another dog to retexture, use those file names instead.
PS: If you can't talk to any of them, you need to use "set playeranimalcount to 0" in the console, as the home page suggests.

lol just spent all night trying to make a custom dog follower before finding his tutorials. Love the high-res textures. It was hard enough to make my lower resolution recolor look good.
Hi! I'm needing help. I went to Riverwood and all, but they're not there. Although, when I started my game, I saw them in a random location running towards something. Anyone able to help?
