how do you do it? I tried manual download, as soon as I put it into Vortex, it says its auto moved it to Oldrim and I cant see any options to tell it not to.
Hi, i'd love to see version that removes insect entirely (or at least all bees). Because, even with this mod the most annoying one stay (inside walls), so i can't even catch them.
This mod disables their respawning, not killing the ones that are already there.
It is fairly easy to remove them yourself, just need to load up hearthfire/skyrim esms in the creation kit, then look for the BYOM cell for Lakeview manner. Inside the render view, it looks like a disaster, because it has all of the data for every possible addon, only showing them depending on what you do etc etc. In the window where the cells are listed, search for "insect". On the right list, it should come up with 4 references. Highlight them all and delete them. Now ALL insect spawns (butterflies, bees, etc) should be disabled. Use the console command "tlc" to get those that are there now, and no more should respawn.
I have a working version of this, decided to make my own for this reason, and since the bees can also spawn from the broad insect references, and can post it on the nexus if people want.
so if i find them annoying i'll come back too you. for those complaining about the rest as |||Prosthetics Said|||: Use the console command "tlc" to get those that are there now, and no more should respawn.
All items still spawn the same as before. There's even a beehive in the greenhouse that will still be there. The bees themselves just don't show up to be annoying.
I realize it isn't very lore friendly, but they were always such a nuisance before that I hated making a greenhouse. People complained the bees would knock over objects, the racket was horrible, and the clipping through wall was ridiculous.
