Technically, no. But I mean, Alduin is threatening to bring about the end of the world, and that's when Bad Wolf starts popping up all over the place, so we could say that the appearance of the Bad Wolf in Tamriel is linked to Rose scattering the words throughout all of the Universe.
make a quest to kill the boss/god of the bad wolf's. idk boss being is the king and is taking orders from their god fenrir eldest son of loki from the old norse mythology.
sometimes i wished some one would add norse mythology to this game as a second set of of the divines and daedric princes. as a replacer and a as a stand alone making them even older and even more powerful than the current ones. long forgotten in the sands of time.
I really don't want to start a Doctor Who flame war. I just want to point out that Donna also left the Doctor unwillingly. She wanted to travel with him forever, but he had to wipe her memory for her own sake. That doesn't diminish Rose at all, though.
They are both excellent characters, imo. I didn't like how Rose's story ended because it was a little bit too much like fanfic wish-fulfillment for my liking. Donna however - she remains my number one. Her story was heroic, humbling, inspiring, tragic - plus she gave us Wilf <3
ehh kinda breaks immersion in the beginning especially on legendary difficult wolfs are actually a challenge but once you level up get armor etc they should no longer be a challenge and it should stay that way. A armored knight with no skin showing would never lose to a knight and a wolf shouldnt be as strong as trolls or even stronger than other monsters. The only think skyrim lacks with wolfs is bigger packs there should be packs like 9 max wolfs working together
Download SkyTEST. Seriously. One time when I started a new game, I started with Alternate Start - Live another Life and as I was walking through the woods, I noticed I was surrounded by wolves, I nearly s#*! myself and they murdered me, it was awesome.
@kareem3 I agree with you actually.. there was a mod way back that was going to add wolf packs but it never worked properly (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10699//?) and the modder eventually stopped supporting it altogether (I would not recommend installing that mod btw as it never really worked properly).
Though I don't think 9 wolves would make much of a difference if they're not based on your level a bit.. all you'd have to do is use a scroll of mass paralysis and a sword with soul trap and you'd reap 9 petty souls... unless they were placed near some of the things you do at the beginning of the game like the Whiterun bounty locations, near Solitude, Windhelm or Ivarstead. I personally like levelled creatures because you have a bit of a fight instead of one hit kills...
I'd like to see something though with a little lore thrown in.. like "Advocate of Hircine" wolves.. or something.
Well...this mod is mostly a joke anyhow. I could make a separate lore-friendly version, which people could download if they wanted to. I just enjoy having something small and fast running at me out of nowhere and putting up a fight like the Bad Wolves do. I like the Advocates of Hircine name, actually.
Cool.. well, I haven't downloaded it yet but I am tracking this and I'll install it when you think it's finalized. Don't take it personally I just don't like updating mods as I've had bad experiences with floating waterfalls and floating people -.- I'll endorse it for sure when I do use it though!
If you want tougher than SkyTEST run Requem. That mod makes the game so tough, 1 freakin' arrow hits you and you die - it's tough but fun to try and prevent being hit! LOL
It gets a little easier later because it evens out as you level, but it's a slow process, and it makes the game scary again like the old RPGs were! I love it, and I can't get enough! Every time I die, I try to remember what I did wrong, and come up with a tactic and it vigorously teaches me how to play the game like a pro beyond what the games initial setup allows you to do!
I love it! I listen to rock and metal music with a story about middle ages and fantasy while I play and it motivates me so much!
Thanks, CurseOfDarkness! I think the lore-friendly version is pretty much done. The mod is pretty simple, after all, and I guess it fills a very specific niche of its own. I do appreciate the feedback -- I want my mods to be as good as they can be.
Love this mod for both the Doctor Who reference, and I've always wished the wolves would level a bit more. Can't wait to see what you do with scattering the word in the game...
As a thought perhaps later you could add an ability to look into the time vortex and use it's for a limited amount of time and 95% of your health for a short while
If I'm interpreting your comment correctly, then you may like to know that I intend to expand the mod by scattering the actual words "Bad Wolf" throughout Skyrim.

Reminds me of "Big Bad Wolf" bad-ass rock song!
I can definitely tell you one thing about the scattering: there will be eleven of them.
