It's not a full on replacement if you uninstall it should go back to normal what I did is made a separate texture file for it and then set them all to load it instead of the original. Also I am working on making different colors and a light/ heavy one. Not sure when it will be up but I am working on it.
yeah, the Gauntlet issue is a pity, thinking the original may fit in better in the interim. But have you talked with the person who did 'Dovahkiins Daedric Armour' i'm thinking a few different colouration options (& enchantment type options) other than Bright Crimson & 'Fortify Shout' would be a great idea for that mod. Do you offer a choice of Heavy / Light? & unenchanted?
I'll download & install for a look, though yeah the replacer concern is quite warranted it's not that simple to revert is it? Can you tell us what files we need to backup elsewhere to safely revert? cheers that'd be cool.
Looks great! Quick question though - Is your retexture a replacer or a standalone? If your nifty texture is a replacer, could you consider making it standalone?
