Very nice, mate! we can all see some nice improvements. also the workbench is in place i like it how ur coridors arent that tight now, u actually feel u can breathe while u walk trough them. love the entrance to the library , now u dont see wall like statue when u enter. very good job upstairs also. i like the wardrobe.
And now some suggestions... do something with the signstones, dont let them on a shelf. pesonalize that area of the house much nicer, also the dining room, its ok but first u need to understand that the logic in this case is that u dont wonder in all the hose with the food till u get to the dining area, so it woul be nice an entrance or something to the kitchen. also more clutter( that stands for all the hose except the library and armory witch will need some modifications or minor improvements, tell u later ). when u enter in the house i get in thi room with some weapon racks and 2 display cases and 2 manequins, its ok now all depents on every1s taste, but the next is the main hall, as u can name it so it needs to be the hearth of the house, many will say that the fire place its the hearth of the hose, thats not a very bad idea. considering u have on left the stones and shrines and on the right some storage area...u could make this area go on a lower level and and an central fire place with a bard or 2 and a bar... u decide what to do this just came into my mind now.
till we see what walls u will decide to use i dont think i can say more than this. but in the library where u done an excelent job ill have to say that u should thake the tables in the back ( study and reading area as u wanna call it) and divide it into 2 areas for each corrner cause they look like there is something missing there...so u can make the reading area on the left- left corner and the study area with 2-3 beches and some aprentices on the right that way ull have the corners done and done some inprovements to it. also ull need an desk, cant have an library with no desk, put that to th righ or left of the door, that way u will only have 1 corner to dicede how to impreve it and make it not look so empty
i also saw that u like the dwarven lights and other dwarven clutter. make it an theme for the hose. not many want to do something with dwemmer influences. im not saing to put the beds and all other clutter dwemmer, but look into it to see what do u like and can adapt for ur place
in tha armory ull have to give me some time to thing what u can do... remove the fog first) btw the showroom where u got the giant, mamoth skull and all that, make it more spectacular. its a bit dull and, i for 1 dont get an warm feeling from it or anything, its like yea ok its there... i can live without it. try to arrange thing like in an battle scene, that will make things more intrsting or an miniature scene of the land... think of it
PS: if u want i can give u my caslte to see how i tought it should be nice an real castle to be in skyrim. i also have to warn u if u want to take it the it has no clutter and u most certanly need some instructuins to navigate it. after all i told u its huge and its made of several cells. some with less importance have only the floor as an idicator of whats to be build, an reference for me, but i want to share it with u to see the walls and structural design that i made it, maybe it will insire u

I wanted to thank EVERYONE for their input, both good and bad. This is exactly why I decided to publish my mod.
Since I published, I've noticed a few hiccups myself that I didn't notice before. (Weapon racks in the entry way are backwards, etc).
So I'm going to take EVERYTHING everyone has said (For the most part) and begin a major overhaul.
My next version is going to have less wrong with it, I promise. It's going to look nicer, be less cramped, and not have that irritating white void in the back of the library. (Turns out it was the lighting template I used).
This is what makes the people on the Nexus great. I don't think I've ever seen anyone truly berate someone's work, only give good criticism on needed improvements, etc. You guys are the reason modders exist. (I don't consider myself a modder yet...Lemme crank a few more things out..then we'll talk)
All this being said, with the changes I have in mind I don't plan on releasing a "fix" to this version because I plan on completely overhauling the main house. The library will remain the same because I like it that way. I MAY add some finer touches, but over all that was my MAIN thing to build for myself. I DID take some suggestions into the library and made some changes already.
Thank you for the Endorsements and the critique. I look forward to seeing if I can truly impress some of you with my next release.

I'm planning on re-working the main house to make it more friendly and less confining. I'm also working on decorating better.
The armory I like being huge like that. (Just my personal preference). As for the fog effect, gotta remember this IS underground.
If you guys don't mind, what isn't lore friendly about it? I'd like to keep it as lore friendly as possible.
The library is perfect for my tastes. I'll look into the blank wall thing. I'm noticing it too on my end, and I don't know why. So I'll look into that as well.

first add the workbench in the forge area
try other walls, personally i consider white walls hospital walls. bring some life in all of the building. get rid of those beds when u enter on right and make it an kitchen area. add more decorations to the left as well. in my opinion statues and flowers, trees make an building look more friendly. also lights are a very important ingredient. as u have seen it, the human life is not so vibrant in the game but all the creatures and skeletons and so on make an rich experience. as u cant put animals and other creatures in the house try... humans ( the most evident think to do0 or dwarven automatons, even giants or vampires or werewolfs. put an dragon at the forge to breath fire in it and from it u have the heat of the forge... after all its fantasy the main objective of the game
make the coridors more wide and long. and put something in them like and table with an flower or a tree, make them tell something when u pass trough them. also the space upstairs it is weisted. make more rooms for the housecarl, blacksmith... also try to add more height to that space. if u add more walls and rooms u will feel in it like an rat in a maze and u dont want that...
in short, let ur imagination free and if u want an giant be the housecarl do it! an werewolf the meat vendor, whos stopping ya? fill up the space since u have it and u have it all done by u (witch i apreciate very much even with some minor alingment errors). hope all i said it makes sense and u enjoy all i said. im watchin u

Since you're looking for critiques. Understand that you have no definition of space.

For example a house has a livingroom, kitchen, etc. You just have a few GIANT halls packed with repeated placements. It becomes very tedious if it were to actually be used. You might want to compact it a bit more and have center pieces to help define the space and give the player something to look at that is unique.

Yea, this was something I knew going in. As my first mod, it's a learning experience. I wanted to go ahead and publish it to get critique that I can use on my next build.

Hello mate. i like it how it is, simple and big. not too fancy. but as ppl said and i, its simple. i for example, have a work in progress, a very big castle with 3 wings, and ur hole Hide-a-Way its the size of 1 of my wings. i started my mod after i saw most of the big castles that have been put here. what i hope u really understand is that u need to use the space in a way ppl dont get bored lookin around. for example i have now another castle mod thats ok, but the access from 1 part to another its very complicated. u have done here a very good job. ask any1 who has instaled ur mode where is the library, they all know it! so dont loose that if u want to work at this mode or want to start another.
also ur coridors are too small. my coridors, as space are the size of this mode. think big in all the things u do! also the level upstairs is not that tall, its for short ppl.
dont be afraid to use more decorations, flowers, flags, lights... anything. also u need natural light if its not a cave or a tomb. even in a cave u have natural light. the more the better.
and now things u might wanna take care of are:
the statue in the library when u enter is too close to the dore, its like u enter and u see a wall... not good
also in library when u go in the back( the oposite side of the door) and u look at the door it kinda vanishes when u look at it from a corner. its like there is nothing there, just... sky. also in the bedroom area u got an fog effect.
and in the working place u didnt put and working table to improve armor... that aint good at all(
overall its a nice mod and i will use it gladly

ps: if ur intrested to help me with my castle, to be partners in this project ill gladly accept.

cool idea, but its way to big to make cozy...if it was much (much) smaller and lore friendly it could be awesome.

Um..... Let me look. I installed that AGES ago.

      Ah ha! Found it.
      http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26822
Not Another Colored Map Icon Mod
      I also had http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25014
Alternate Hearthfires House Markers but didn't like the looks of those icons.

Also, thanks for the props you two. I know it's a bit bland. I'm working on that. I'm not very good with clutter and decoration yet. The armory and the library were my main focus (If you couldn't tell) because those are my two passions...Collecting weapons/armor and books....

Looks good, if a bit bland (in a good way)
I've been looking for a mod to use for housing companions in one area and for just displaying my treasures in one large space.
Is on my shortlist (my skyrim is CTD city and I'm too lazy too purge the NMM folder and reinstall)

For the 4 people who downloaded this already, please download the current 1.1 version. The previous version caused CTD's. I've fixed the problem.
