      I would say that Charlemagne are not that dissimilar from Tiber Septim, a character with some importance in Skyrim, it could actually be his sword.

      Well dragons likes shiny stuff. If you don't believe me watch the latest Peter Jackson movie: The Hobbit.
      
      And some of them can travel through dimensions/space just like Odahviing so...lol

      Oh, come on now - the Franks were a Germanic tribe, which means they're Teutons, just like the ones who settled Scandinavia. The design of the sword is highly appropriate for Skyrim, not to mention being quite beautiful!

   I just consoled it in to have a look at it. This look beautiful, endorsing. You may consider to add it's golden sheath as well.

   sword is looking very good but its quality is a bit problem to fit to the lore a bit don't you think? It just got made so well with so such detail so much hm shiny its just can't match the rusty looking swords all over the Skyrim. Just like it would just made to enjoy to watch not for the fight. Eye pleasing for sure!

      Since Skyrim is a place where women are expected to be hard as Iron, Jarl Elisif could carry this as her personal sidearm, or maybe equip her housecarl Bolgeir Bearclaw with it. We here have a weapon with a lot of bling and it also manage to look deadly.
