Shadows of Dragonstar has become Hammerfell: Shadows of Dragonstar. If you haven't played this yet now is the time. If you already played this, then download this new version as it is much different than before. Thanks and enjoy.

I just had the same problem. When I opened the archived download, it looks like the BSA is over 2 GB. I *thought* I read somewhere that 2GB was some kind of limit for BSA file size, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. Or maybe it's just that Nexus Mod Manager is having a problem with a BSA that large?
Anyway, any insight would be appreciated. I'm quite capable of installing everything manually, but would prefer to use NMM if I can.
yes anything over the 2.11GB limitation for BSA files are inaccessible and will break the mod. If you want to use BSA's which are over the limit you either need to keep the textures out of the BSA and leave them loose (which will save you a huge amount of room) or create a subordinate ESP file that relies on the base mod and create a BSA for it (Immersive armors does this).
Thanks for that info, icecreamassassin. Guess I'll unpack and then repack the bsa without textures.
EDIT: Repacking the bsa without some of the textures worked. I was able to install the smaller bsa with NMM, no problem. Now to see if I remembered to include all the texture folders in my installation
I installed this before the latest update and just started getting the "You Smell" glitch I'll try installing the the latest version and hopefully this fixes the issue.
I installed this mod but encountered a serious problem. I can't get to Hammerfell. I can find the two crossing locations on my map but any attempt to Fast Travel to them makes me boomerang back to where I was before. Attempting to walk there is even less successful. I can see the gates in the distance but an invisible wall keeps blocking me with the message "You can't go that way." Am I missing something to help me get this working?
Doesn't work for me. I've saved and reloaded as you said, then i've tried both entrances, and it always tells me that i can't venture forth. I think you should make a teleporter somewhere. Or a ship. That would be easier. Or at least tell us the name of the main area so one can at least type "coc dranonstarsomewhat"
So I have some issues with the body tetures and the npcs' faces. I use Babes of Skyrim, Pretty Forsworn and Bandits, and Hott Witches. I placed all of these below Hammerfell: Shadows of Dragonstar in my load order, but for some reason this mod's textures overwrite the aformentioned mods. Am I doing something wrong? How can I fix this?
So, everything downloads fine, but it keeps running into an error upon install. It gets to about 75% and stops. Is there something I need to do? I'm hearing stuff about BSA's and stuff and it's going over my head. I just download and play mods, I don't make them. Is there any fix to this, or am I screwed?
soo i was just wondering if this mod still is under development noticed it had been an while since the last update. and btw it dubles up the npc's in falkreath jarl house i got 2 of everyone there
Im pretty annoyed the mod replaced body textures and facegendata for all the npcs with the vanilla ones. Quests and Adventure mods in another land shouldn't need to do this.
What a wonderful mod ! May I have the honour to translate this mod into Chinese and upload it to a Chinese Website http://www.skycitizen.net with credits for you?
I always install manual, and the textures Directory is too invasive, overrides you actors setup, you should include inside the .bsa just no affect the game set.
About the mod i found several issues with the quest, the navmesh, void textures, but you can have some fun killing this easy hammerfield bandits
This mod wants to overwrite my body mods so I would never install manually. Could just take out the BSA and drop that in manually I'm guessing, I do that with FOOK2, and install everything else via manager. When I uninstall the mod I just move the BSA into another folder for later when I want to use the mod again. As it stands, I'm doing too much other stuff with the game and didn't feel like going through the trouble and reading about the other issues people are having with bugs decided to just hold off on playing this mod and seeing if things get an update or not. Might still play it later but not right now.

Can you give me step-by-step instructions, please? Thank you.

Also the tree LOD is not working...
