This mod is exactly what I was looking for. I use High Level Enemies (scaled version) by Dalquist, and all that was missing was the Dragons. I didn't want to use Deadly Dragons because I don't want all the scripting, SKSE and extra stuff. I just wanted Dragons to be tougher. I tested out the mod last night and this morning and it did exactly that.

Foxhound, I see in the description, that you say the people in the towns may die. I assume that a mod such as "Run for your Lives", should help them survive? Going to give this mod of yours a fair shot, as some of the Dragon mods out there are just too much. Sounds like this is about perfect, as it just makes Dragons as they are supposed to be ( Pretty Tough Creatures ) without going overboard on a bunch of other things.
pretty good mod. it definitely made the dragon deal out more damage. i went after a dragon to test this out and he roasted me in about 5 seconds. next time i kept my distance using a crossbow. the fight lasted about a minute which considering they used to be about 10 seconds is a vast improvement. they all seem to make the same mistake and land near my orc follower who then takes them apart with his axe. if they stayed up in the air and hit us with breath we wouldnt stand a chance against them. anyway i will really have to watch out now when i hear one coming cause the breath weapon is really lethal now.
Endorsed. I use a multiple companion mod and Dragon Combat Overhaul, and love it - it's great when he stays in the air, but when the poor dragon settles to the ground for too long, he's toast. Most dragon mods do too much - I was looking for something that would toughen him up a bit (multiply his hp and/or resist npc damage), and this more than fits the bill. Not only is he tougher now, but his dragon fire is deadly - if I'm not running and dodging or equipped with the right resist enchants, I die the first time he spits at me (died ten times trying to kill that first dragon at the watchtower learning this lesson). Combine it with overhaul's smarter dragons and impact effects and I groan and save real quick again when I hear that dragon roar.
