I found that in Dawnguard there is only one vampire lord, a mod with other vampire lords to destroy them would be really better, so that the fight stops as quickly. thank you
This gives us more choice - and I love it. I like to play the vampire but I like to be a "good" vampire. Dawnguard should have had this implemented in the first place. Nice work
Does this mod only affect Isran? He's technically the only one you need to talk to in order to advance the quest-line. I ask because I want to know if Sorine Jurard and Gunmar will still say their annoying lines, "Get yourself cured IMMEDIATELY! You're a threat to us all, otherwise!" and "You're not welcome here as long as you're one of those... monsters!"
I wasn't able to get me from the "A New Order" recruiting quest into "Prophet" with this mod, due to the "super-magic-vampire-detecto-light(TM)". However, I was able to circumvent it. By attacking one of the people standing around, it broke them from their "busy" state and the quest transitioned automatically. I had sufficient stealth to do this without getting caught, but it might also work if you run away and come back a few days later, since one stray bolt doesn't seem to be enough to cause a lasting reputation change.
Once I hopped that hurdle, the mod kicked in and everyone was happy to see me again. This is just what I need to bypass Isran's blatant hypocrisy. Thank you.
Yeah, I actually did exactly the same thing on my first playthrough; I gave one of them a few good punches to the face, which somehow caused the quest to complete and allowed me talk to them again.
I guess this just shows that violence does solve everything.
Mod is useful only to by-pass the vampire detector ray. If you're already vampire when you first enter in the Fort Dawnguard , Isran will attack you on sight at list that's what happened to me. So use it ONLY if you have the stuck quest bug, after you first talk with Isran is safe to install it
Instant download! I've been frustrated by this for a while. Given the sacrifice my character made, "getting vamped" even though she is sworn to fight them, I think Isran should be falling all over himself to thank her, but instead he called her a monster! What a dick. She decided right then to complete the quest without the Dawnguard at all ... but that proved to be nearly impossible. Now she can!
