And yet, as has been previously mentioned by others, this isn't an elk. It's a deer. The horns are a dead give away. Try an image search for deer and elk. Or just look at the previous mods that change this where it's already been pointed out.
In the real world, Deer don't have antlers like these Elk(Deer hides). Neither do any elk I've seen tho. These antlers are more similar to that of a moose. Anywho, I'm installing this mod because having it to say Elk in game is more accurate than having it to say deer. Less accurate than having it to say moose but since apparently No one who Developed this part of the game has ever gone hunting or were raised in a hunting family, to correctly change it to moose would make some other aspects(mods) become a bit confusing. Hmm, there are deer, elk and moose in the Skyrim world but yet all of their hides are called Deer Hide. Blah. Anywho, thanks for making this change. As one who knows wildlife, this has always annoyed me and I don't know how to make these corrections myself.
