I bet this is the only sumonable and tweakable follower? I'm looking for something similar, but more magic-oriented.
Like, you learn the summon, and give stuff to the summoned being. Try to make it work with any armor and stuff. and if it dies, you just summon again and it'll keep everything. Leveling up based on your conjuration and the like. Yes, it's more mage-oriented, but that's what i'm looking for xD
go to your data files in your skyrim directory and at the top there is a search bar type uys and there should be a text file named uys and uysjohn if there isnt then the mod was not installed correctly
So basically its a follower I have to summon and pay to upgrade? and I can't just throw my old ebony armor on them when i get something better? Where exactly is the benefit of using this?
well think about this your probably a high level character with all this extra armor/old armor but if you were a level 5-50 or even more it suits all levels and not just one particular level. And when u level up your summon your starting from the bottom and working your way up nothig in skyrim does this. Plus with a follower he/she will eventualy die and then you have to carry back the armor you gave him/her with u. The benefit of using this is building a weak guy with no armor no weapons and barley any health to a god with overpowered weapons that were modified by myself and badass armor that were also modified by myself.
1. Followers start out with good armor almost all that specialize in heavy armor start with steel or better and those that specialize in light use leather. 2. Quite alot of people us UFO and set there followers to essential so no real chance for them to die I do this mainly so I don't have to worry when they catch my arrow with the back of their heads due to dumb AI. 3. If you don't have the armor/weapons or coin to give your followers dragon weapons by level 50 your doing something wrong. 4. Who wants some dude following them around across skyrim when you can have sexy eye candy?
Ok then but think about this a followers level NEVER INCREASES no matter what level you are with this mod it also levels up his level and his skills like one handed or two handed or how much health he has no follower does this.Also you can summon him anywhere when you decide to finaly dismiss your follower and then sooner realize that you need him to help you fight an enemy but hes not there you have to go all the way back and ask him to follow you it time consuming and poinless. ok then answer this what if someones a mage or a sneaky character why would he have ebony armor or glass or daedric, This is why i made the mod because i wanted it to suit EVERY ONES PLAYSTYLE.

Followers do actually level with you granted they have level caps but you can use UFO or any number of other follower overhauls to remove their level cap and allow them to level up with you to level 81 or higher and their stats go up as well with each level granted they do not get perks but again overhauls for that. 2. You can equip a follower with anything if you want a mage you can equip them with some mage armor you found here on the nexus or anything you want or nothing at all if you want too and its the same with a thief follower.

I think this is a really cool idea. Really intresting. If conjuration skill modified the purchase price or directly the npc, that'd be how I think I'd like it. Also this could make a really nice mercenary partner mod, where instead of paying 500 for some premade nord woman who wants a fist fight you could hire someone from a pool of aspiring soldiers/mages and pay for there education (skills) as well as equips. It'd be a very cool, super immersive follower mod. And would fit the npc's given as faction followers really well. So many ideas...
yeah there is an endless selection of characters witch i am willing to put the time and effort in to make this mod even better for the future. right now i am doing a mage class for anyone that is wondering.
Were you expecting to summon another busty succubus or some other disproportionate woman of ill repute? Please... do this good community a favor and keep such lackluster comments to yourself.
wow great idea...something new that i dont think has been done before...great work...i hope you work out all the bugs and perhaps make it so that you are able to choose which armor you would like on him
