Hello everybody! After some testing and poking I finally uploaded today the new version that I tried to make compatible with Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions, found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29249/?
It has not been tested thoroughly because I only have Hearthfire for the food, but it would be great if I could get some more people to take a look at it. Check the changelog in the description. Please let me know how it goes!
Um Jokerine, The Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions mod says: KNOWN INCOMPATIBILITIES Spouses can Live Anywhere: Changes the same scripts Multiple Marriages: Changes the same scripts (and was never updated to Hearthfire) HF Marriage Adapter: prevents the Custom home dialogue to work
So does that mean if you use your Hearthfire Adoption version, we wouldn't need Spouses can live anywhere? We just cast the "Bless this House" spell and the wife and kids should move there?
Jokerine, did you add child activity markers to inside of Ironwood? This seriously looks like the best mod to have all your family and companions gathered and living in one spot. Is there also a non NPC version?
Oh sorry Jokerine, I thought maybe you had moved onto another game. Thank you for the NPC workaround. Was wondering if you could answer my question on child activity markers, as in did you add any as per TMPhoenix's guide in his Multiple Adoptions Mod?
I realize that this is an old mod, but while it is my favorite home, it has three deleted navmeshes. Using various guides, I have never been able to fix them, but I learned to avoid them. I have moved on to SE, and I do not remember the exact locations. One is around Dustman's Cairn, and a second on is east of Rorikstead, possibly north of Gjukar's Monument. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the third location.
For me, there was an instant CTD whenever I hit one of those deleted navmeshes. If you have explored the area, you can avoid it, but you will need to install it late-game. For me, the inconvenience was worth it.
I used it to re-home all the miscellaneous followers left in dark caves, dank dungeons, and lonely ruins. I even force-recruited Melka, and using MHYH, I assigned her work area as the enchanting table.
I tried to port it to SE, but it crashed the CK and SSE NIF Optimizer. If anybody has successfully done a correct personal export, I would appreciate telling me how you did it.
I seem to have some kind of problem with the guards. They seem to... Hate me... I walked in, and was immediately attacked by 3 of them. I tried killing them, and they won't die. Any kind of help please?
Just loaded the mod and encountered the bandit attack, half of which was dead when I got there. Headed to the mine, and ran into a random vampire. After getting past the vampire and thrall, found the bandit lookout dead with an ice spike in her head from the same random vampire
Outstanding Mod !! ... Great detail! .. Neat little story/background and "quest" for the home!! .... Well placed. No load screens!!
I Seriously Love everything about it with only one caveat, too many extra people .... mostly ... extra bards.
Anyone know the best way to get rid of all or most of the bards without kiling them and having bodies every where ?? Could I do that in TESedit or something ? And if so, what's a good place to learn how to do that ?
"A small word of warning, though; the weapon racks are being annoying. You can place weapons in them, but it becomes impossible to remove them later... So, choose wisely what to put in them!"
*grins* Well, not a problem for me, since I never use a weapon again after putting it on a rack! (Only my obsoletes and such go on there, I only change my weapon when upgrading the enchantments!) This looks like the perfect home I've been looking for, thank you!
Is there any way to check on bed capacity for this (or any residence via console)? I only added a few followers and anyone else that I add simply leaves. Do I need to get rid of the residence NPCs? (any recommendation for the best console commands to do that - if needed?) Thanks.
I am still playing the vanilla Skyrim and love this house. Large enough and have a lot bed. I got one problem of the female servant there. They has a darkie head/neck and fair skin color body. Should I will them all and kidnap some new pretty servants. May be my army of followers can work for me. BTW. nice work
Can you name the people in the giant palace? I have a few names that would work... If by chance you could it would be amazing. Just let me know and I tell you the names after I know how many people there are and how many of each gender. I just want them to have names for Immersion.
