I wonder how many skin colors you can choose. For me this race, because of the stats would be an ideal race for eveyone. I would like a really white skin, a very dark brown skin and a black skin. They are afteral a mixed group.
I would like to have a bunch of Apacchi hair conected to them too. Some really long hair for the male. Some Redguard hair for the male.
Than i can subsitute this race in my playing for the ugly elves, the redguards, the Nords, well everyone.
I love this mod! My favourite race now! I was just wondering, if modded Armour and Weapons work on this race? My favourite is Knight Of Thorns and Talon Of Akatosh. Are these compatible?
I've added a vampire version of the race, and it seems to be working, though the appearance remains human. I have to figure out how to edit Form Lists so I can allow the Azabari to have Vampire Eyes. I'm unsure how to make the skin change as it should, but I think it may already be working. I haven't tested vampirism to see how it works as it gets to later stages. The spells do work. I've only tested vampirism with Dawngaurd installed, so I have no clue if it works entirely fine without it.
I have also added custom skin colours to the race. They're lighter than the previous colours. Your characters should not be effected unless you alter your character's appearance.
Lastly, I decided to change the resistances of the race from 50% to fire resistance to 35% fire resistance and 10% to frost resistance.
I believe I may also be able to finally mix the head parts of the Nords and Redgaurds, though it'll take me some more time to figure things out.
I'm going to be looking into fixing some of the issues with this mod once again. I'd like to get it working better, as well I'd also like to increase the customizability of the face to create more of a morphed look of the two races. This was originally just a practice mod, but it could be a great way to figure out even more things I can do with the CK to make races.
Nope. No custom skeleton. All assets are available in the vanilla game. All I did was mash up the Redgaurd skin with the Nord face and create a cool spell.
This is truly a great mod, I love it! It's the only race mod so far that i've been able to beat the game on Expert with and I love it! Just the whole badass spell but really there is one or two things i'd like to say: 1. It's half-nord & half-redguard right then why does it have 50% resistance to fire it should be 25% to fire & 25% to frost, because Reguards have the 50% fire and Nords have the 50% Cold or Frost doing this would allow people with Frostfall to not be challenged as much and also fight dragons would become that bit more fun and exciting.
2. Also maybe some Azabari weapons or armour that you can get in the game make it a challenge though just so you that it adds that little bit more lore or RPG to the game.
But on the whole ONE OF THE BEST RACE MODS I'VE EVER USED! Keep it up!
Thanks for your enthusiasm. I'll take your ideas into consideration. I was initially hoping to create a quest line for the Azabari, but I ended up leaving for a while.
The high fire resistance is due to the fact that they adapted to living in the desert. The Nords have cold resistance because they liv in the frozen reaches of Skyrim.
(Sorry for my english) Hi , actually i found one bug , when i go to the race menu after creating your Azabari i found myself with only 10 hairs (the one from Numenume Hair) when i have like 200 hairs+ normaly , when i desactivate the mod (Numenume Hair) i have an infinite of choice with always the same texture . It's kinda sad when you want to just change the hair of your character .
I've never seen the Numenume hair mod, but I would assume it is due to an incompatability, and can probably be fixed by hanging your mods load order. Try loading your hair mod before the race mod. I set it up so it uses the same body and armour as Nords, so it should be compatible. As I said, try reordering your mods, then let me know if it worked.
Thk for your reply , well that didn't work but i find an other way (i will post it here if maybe someone else run in that trouble) I change the race of my character via the command mode : Player.setrace nord after that i go in the race menu Showracemenu i do my thing without changing the race or the gender , after i'm done i just switch back to my azabari race Player.setrace azabari
So with that i can change what i want without losing my perk or whatever .
how is this in any way lore friendly? they don't look half redguard, nor would humans be able to survive under the aldmeri dominion for long enough to actually breed. Also wtf is with the fire powers? just because you say they are half desert people doesn;t mean they would turn into a race of fire benders in such a short time.
The mod is non-intrusive as it doesn't offer any outragous content. I also gave a reasonable backstory explaining the origin of the race that I feel fits right into the lore of the game. The comment about the Aldmeri Dominion is obviously just an exageration as humans have survived for quite a while without any threat to their lives since the White-Gold Concordant was signed stopping the war. As for the fire power, I just wanted to add something to set them apart from other human races.
(LORE IDEA!) Fire magic might have been gifted to them since some of the members of the treasure hunting might have been fire mages. Over the years, they children have inherited the fire magic and perfected it after so many generations. So there you have it mod maker, lore about teh magic o' fiyah!
