The bound sword disappears when it's sheathed, but the bow doesn't. Anybody have any idea how I would go about it fixing it so that the bow can disappear when sheathed aswell??
It seems that in the original game, the bound weapons (which this mod uses as a base) seem to have a separate mesh for the static model and a "bound effect" mesh. Most bound weapons seem to have an empty static/model mesh, with the actual weapon model being inside the effects mesh, but the bow has the model on the static mesh (and not on the effects one). That discrepancy is probably the reason why the rest of the weapons disappear when sheathed, but the bow doesn't. I'll see if I can work it out (nifskope noob here).
awesome mod! I always wanted to see .. is it possible to change some bounds weapons colours to red? (and maybe .. add fire on it) just wondering and talking about an idea :O
well works fine but i am nearly crying ..all weapons work (appearing when i use them and then diasapper) EXCEPT the bow ..it appears first time i use it and then it will only disappear when i unequip it ...is this a bug or is it my fault ? D:
This has partially fixed an immersion-breaking issue for me. I have never liked followers wearing weapons when at home or in Jarls' palaces. Now they only equip these weapons when they are needed. It also stops them wearing many normal weapons until needed, so for example one dual-wielding follower also hides her normal weapon until needed.
will the enchantment work on all of the weapons or just ones of the same type??? basicaly i wanna use the mod that lets me put weapon enchants on armor so i can make armours have the cool bound effect and i am afraid of causing all kinds of bad things happening lol
could you do this with all the weapons? like bound war axes, or bound maces, i have seen spells to create bound everything but could that be done with this?
