Great mod! I really like the idea! I have SkyRe, which modifies perks. Can I use this mod with SkyRe? Will I have problems?

Soulghemz just checks to see if you have say alchemy 1/5 perk... yes or no. Or Enchanting 5/5 perk... yes or no. The recipes only show if you have the perks. As long as SkyRe doesn't REMOVE those perks from the game and you can still OBTAIN the key perks, then it will work.

I've read about a mod or two where you only have to have the 1/5 perk and it gives you the other 2-5 as your skill increases. As long as these mods merely add the perk for you, and doesn't remove the default perk system from the game, then it should still work.

Soulghemz doesn't require any other scripts, mods, or loaders... but I would have to analyze the other mods to see if they would conflict, which is unlikely unless it changes the vanilla systems.

Thanks for the feed-back, glad you like the idea. If anyone has any issues or dislikes, I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks for the reply My biggest concern was about the Soul Squeezer perk. I checked in game: it's still there with SkyRe, so I guess I wont have compatibility problems Very good, because this mod is going to be one of the main features for my new alchemist-enchanter character
Thanks for this mod! I'll tell you if I find any issues or dislikes

Wow, you are going to make a game to use alchemy and enchanting together? Makes me wonder how cool a mod would be that could make other skills work together better.

Destruction to add damage to unarmed like flaming fists? lol... Conjuring arrows or a practice lock boxes to max lockpicking? Enchanting random smithing items to make trinkets that improve sneak? lol...

Well, it's a really interesting character build imo. She (I want to test my graphics card with the WSBP mod) is a ranger basically, but also an adventurer and a bit of scholar (due to her curiosity). This means, in-game, that she will use crossbows (silenced and with enhanced bolts, thanks to SkyRe) and shortbows (for sthealth) in distance combat; in close range she will use fast little blades and swords and scrolls, that will make herself (with Enchanting skill, thanks to SkyRe again). Alchemy is needed to make potions and poisons for arrows and blades, but also to make explosive ammo and traps (bear traps, provided by Wayfarer skill tree, in SkyRe). So your mod is fundamental for this build because it will use her favourite skills to give her what she need for enchanting
As you can see, the starting idea of this character was to test the new feature of SkyRe v1.0, but thanks to you I developed that idea to this point

ummm, yea. Sounds interesting. Could you make a handy flow sheet, preferably in MS PAINT or something low tech to help explain it? Actually, a few in game screen shots of you using alchemy and enchanting perks would be great. Overall, I'm all for new changes to how stuff is made in game. Thanks for adding.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have make some flow chart images to help explain. I might make some images of using the smith / cooking pot tomorrow, but it's pretty self-explanatory... go to a cooking pot to make the compounds... and after that, everything happens at a forge. All recipes are listed under "misc" once the level 1 perks are obtained.

      Thanks
