The name of this mod, Playable Riekling Spear..I'm like "you can play as a spear? You can throw YOURSELF at the enemy!...oooh no it's just named poorly"
any chance you could use the spear animations the other spear mod guys are using rather than just using sword animations? i felt too dumb swinging a spear like a retarded shaped sword and ended up having to remove it coz i felt silly
The problem with making it a two-handed hammer or axe is that when it's sheathed, the spear will be all the way on the top of your back and stick way up in the air. I think it fits just fine using two-handed sword animations.
i noticed that too! either you have people chopping with spears looking silly and throwing them, or not throwing them and holding spears properly, then the earlier mods you couldn't throw them AND you held them and used them like a sword, there is even one where when you're standing in combat the spear is facing backwards so you're like... menacing them with the blunt end of a stick *facepalm*
idgi maybe it's just too hard for ppl to do and thats why we still don't have spears? but someone made staffs work fine? surely they would let someone use it for spears?
Rieklings have their own set of two-handed animations that makes two-handed swords look like actual spears. I'm sure it's possible to apply it to the player, but I think it would be difficult.
