My female character has 74 wives and still goes out to kill what ever dragons are left. She has all the houses plus about 14 custom homes she has all her wives living in. She has about 8 to 10 wives in one house and no problems. That house is Hjerim and the next one is Riverside Keep.
@tnu To be perfectly honest, I don't know. The command as far as I've tried doesn't seem to work on same sex or people that you can't have a conversation with. As far as I'm aware, the game doesn't allow same sex marriage. And I agree, there shouldn't be any limitations. you should be able to marry a giant for all I care.
Why can'tyou marry the same sex. doesn't seem like there's a technical limitation in place to prevent that as far as I'm aware and i'm not sure therr reallys hould be.
@dartmaul15 Because, some have id's, and it would be really hard to remember all the commands.Bats make it simpler to use the console, cause you can type in multiple commands with hard to remember id's by simple typing in, 'bat marryme' i.e. bat marryme is short for: setrelationshiprank player 4 addfac 19809 1 addfac 5a1a4 1
My recommendation is, don't do anything that will break your game. But, yea, as far as I've tried, you can marry anyone that talks to you, not guards, that say 'bla bla bla, Until I took an arrow to the knew' and you can't have a conversation with them. However, you can't marry same sex or if you're married already.
