    Thank you,

nvidia's program did not work, but yours did :)
... Tried to endorse, but nexus doesn't think I downloaded (even though I did 4 times trying to get the endorse button to work..)
Awesome work Thorne on a still-much-needed utility! <3

Well if the file I uploaded is actually Mr. Blaho's should I remove this file? He still deserves all the credit for this one then and it IS getting downloaded quite a bit.

Edit on this reply: I downloaded his new version and it crashes MY old laptop. The file I have up here currently DOES run on my laptop which is a single core intel, 64k integrated video card with only 1gig ram for the OS.

Well, personally I think that keeping the file or at least the link to it would be good idea, because the tool could be useful for people here.

I agree. This old version is more reliable on my system too. Win 10, Ryzen 1700

Downloaded, and tried. OH. MY. GOD!!! You are absolutely amazing. This is such a freaking time saver! Now if only we could get thumbnails in windows explorer.

I don't see the button to endorse, but You deserve it for this.

Nvidia has some DDS tools, they might work for you. This one adds explorer thumbnails http://www.nvidia.com/object/dds_thumbnail_viewer.html

Yea. I tried THAT one first...for some reason after I viewed an image with the thumbnail in explorer I couldn't edit or move or even delete it. I had to log off and log back on. That's been a problem with a LOT of the viewers I tried.

GIMP.. well.. tons of people USE it but I could never get ANY help to get it to work. Don't bother with the windows installer one. Doesn't work. Better off just compiling your own version with that Python program which is ALSO free but still.. I never got any help from anyone. HAD I gotten a walkthrough on how to get it working I would have posted THAT up here with links as well.

I don't know how. My "screen reading" program takes over MANY of the basic and high end windows functions so I've allowed public picture uploading for ALL of my nexus files.

Sigh. Many thanks for the comments. Its a TINY exe file that opens like this well.. i'm on a 42" screen because of bad eyesight but anyhow it opens this uh... like 3inch by 3inch "box" to start with. Hit the "help" toolbar link and click on associate dds files in explorer. All this thing does is let you quickly view any dds file really quick. No wait to load, no editing tools. just abasic viewer. The 5 meg version of this on nexus has MANY more functions.

OH. I FORGOT. UNASSOCIATE DDS FILES before you uninstall... just makes it easier to install another viewing program.

My ratings for this? Ease of Use: 100 Simplicity: 100 Ease of installation and uninstallation: 100
