ok am back to endorse and sorry it took so long, just got active again in here. that said this mod is flat amazing, while I am not so fond of the word "immersive" this makes it sing. the antlers leave when harvested the body usually jerks when that happens. I actually get the ingrediants that I should each time. again, flat out sweet mod having been a hunter/trapper since I was 6 and first weapons at 10 (that should stir the snowflakes up a bit) and started competitive shooting at 12. I have been shoulder deep in skinning and such and while it was fine in RL don't think it would translate well in game. You have done a great job with this mod hope to see more of your work here and SSE too Thank You!!
It doesn't have removable skin either. What I mean by "fully developed" is that I want to be able to see my kills with their skins visibly removed. Just a meaty corpse remaining.
Hey I had a crazy Idea for a mod. I don't know how it would be (probably pretty tricky I would say) The Idea I had is if the hides/skins where actually removed when you loot the animals, similar to that of hunting and skinning animals in red dead redemption where there is a short animation, and the result being a bloody skinless carcase, maybe even missing a few tusks.
Even if there wasn't an animation, just switching out the model when you exit the looting menu to the skinned model. That would be really sweet.
Anyway just though I would throw that out there. Maybe I will even have a go at it my self.
I think this mod is not compatible with the mod Hunterborn, because when I remove the antlers from the elk's inventory, they remain visible on the elk corpse. Maybe you could contact the maker of the Hunterborn mod and work together to get the two mods compatible? Otherwise this is a great idea as it adds immensely to the immersion and realism of Skyrim. Keep up the good work.
