So while the mod installs and there is a one handed weapon called Faint added in to the game, it has no model. leaving my character flailing his fists around. Kinda amusing really.
Now all we need is a Nordic Great-sword and Stalhrim Great-sword 1 handed version. The Nordic would need more work though, since it would require editing the model and removing the top cross-guard and the divider between guards to just attach the blade to the lower cross-guard and make it look 1 handed. Those swords look awesome, but their 1 handed counterparts are definitely not.
Thanks for informing me. I know I gave it free permissions and everything in case someone can mod the sword to keep its energy wave, but he didn't improve on it at all. He just copy-pasta'd it =/
I can't because the enchantment they used on the original sword is not really an enchantment, but a script, and I really have no experience with those, but if you use this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32237 then you can get the enchantment back.

Just remember this doesn't fire out the beam when you power attack, so it's a pretty lame mod lol
