Yes it has been confirmed that this is a GAME BREAKING MOD. After a few hours of using this mod I ran into an error where after loading into Brightown Grotto while sneaking Skyrim will CTD. Which kept me from progressing any further in the thieves guild quest... After much troubleshooting and trying to figure out what was causing the problem I had only one option to load to a previous save before I installed this mod with the mod uninstalled. Then tadaahhh! like magic how I was able to wear the ebony mail and successfully load into Brightown Grotto continuing the thieves guild questline.
Very unfortunate that this is the case seeing that I really do enjoy the buffs this mod gave to the ebony mail. this is also the only mod I could find that rearranges the stats on the ebony mail... I hope in the future the mod author could remake this mod with better compatibility seeing that I personally think this is one of/if not the best mod for the ebony mail armor.
BEWARE, ANYONE WHO DOWNLOADS THIS. It's another dangerous game-breaking mod. It worked fine for a little while, but then I kept getting CTDs whenever the poison shadow latched onto an enemy. So I uninstalled the mod, regardless of there being no "uninstall procedure" described here.
Used NMM for both install and uninstall.
When I got rid of the ebony mail, my character released the poison shadow whenever an enemy's around, even though he wasn't wearing the ebony mail armor. The result? Instant CTD. Not being able to fight enemies in Skyrim.. that just ruins everything.
Edit: Manually adding them in and removing doesn't work either. Skyrim/Data/Scripts/DA02CuirassScript.pex and Skyrim/Data/Scripts/Source/DA02CuirassScript.psc are forever altered. CTDing shadows are stuck on my character.
My game has "infinite load screen lag" if I have too many saves, so I had to delete my level 52 character. Among hundreds of mods I cleaned through TES5Edit and tested before saving, this one and LC Castle Invasion. They both take some time before they break someone's game.
