i dont know which one it was "alternative reparing" broken. he spawned. but he wont talk to me as a khajiit STILL its frustrating, i wanna be different without the use of console commands to join the faction manually
I wish to join the stormcloacks just before I officially join the thalmor will that by any chance work I want to work with the storm clocks until they are no longer needed to weaken the empire
I totally agree! We are never really given options in how to play. Skyrim sets you up to dislike the Empire from the beginning, when you're about to get your head chopped off. Then there's Roggvir. Poor Roggvir. It's really too bad they don't give you more functionality to start in new beginnings, have characters respond to you based on what you're wearing and your reputation/status, and give you the option to join bandits, temples, and so on.
I know, right? So much potential completely squandered. Our character is essentially already pre-defined before we even hit the start button, and as bizarrely contradictory as it is; all of your characters end up being effectively the same as there are no racial restrictions and no weaknesses or vulnerabilities, but at the same time playing as any other race but Nord makes no sense, as the narrative all but openly paints you as a figure of 'Nord' myth! Morrowind did this far, 'far' better, but after Fallout 3, Bethesda discovered that they no longer 'had' to make RPG's in order to rake in cash, and it was all downhill from there.
I'm pretty sure it's this mod, or Arma Thalmoris, but there seems to be bug that acts like the Thalmor Embassy main quest is active bc all the jarls are in the embassy. I know the bug where if you enter the kitchen it starts the quest, but I made sure not to do this. Help?
One thing I am wondering, is if there is any custom race support for this mod? I'm playing as an Ayleid (Re; Lost Races of Aetherius) and they're physically nearly identical to Altmer- That, and when the Ayleid empire collapsed, the survivors either established splinter tribes in Valenwood, or joined the Altmer population on the Summerset Isles so most modern Altmer are in fact descended from Ayleids, at least in part. Anywho, really wanting to delve deep into this while still playing an Ayleid, :/
I dont know how to contact the Mod creator... but I would like to create a second version of this mod, including correction of bugs, use synthetic voices for for actors, and create a questline that integrates with the main quest (including be a double agent among the Blades, and finishing them off after you defeat Alduin).
Think you could add an option for Bretons? They may not be a direct line to the Altmer anymore but they're still essentially their sons. Just a little bit of Nordic blood mixed in now lol.
Actually this is ESO lore. This Aldmeri Dominion isn't the same Aldmeri Dominion isn't the same as the ESO one. In short, they don't like anyone but High Elves.
Actually they they are Altmer only, and think Bosmer are good for slaves/servants. Khajiit dont make sense at all (its just stupid ESO thing where they horseshoed them cos they needed 3rd race for the faction. Dunmer would make more sense, at least they are Mer)
Shame because I wish some custom races were allowed in this like the dwarven race mod or and custom elf mod here on nexus.Dwemer are basically classified as elves if you are well enough into their backstory and their disappearance
