Quests with unique non-random, non-level dependant rewards, like "Rune" equipment from Lost Relic quests or Crossbow upgrades and Elementral Bolts schematics from Ancient Technology in case you are siding with Dawnguard!...
No, sorry, it won't let you start the quest over. If console commands won't fix it then you would need a way of circumventing the quest (perhaps another mod) or to use console commands to just make your spouse a vampire without doing the quest - should be possible, but I don't know what the commands would be, and I don't know if there would be any adverse effects.
Hi, love the mod, but I was wondering something. Could you make Vingalmo's "New Allegiance" quests more likely to pop up, or at least roughly explain how you did this so I can make my own minor adjustment? Thanks much in advance.
Glad you like the Mod I don't think I could count "New Allegiance" as a special quest although it is finite. If you want to add it yourself, good for you The easiest thing I can suggest is using the Creation Kit/TES5Edit and having a look at what I've done and copy it for that quest. Feel free to PM me if you'd like some more guidance
Does this increase the likelihood of being given 'The Gift' quest (given by Vingalmo; a quest to turn your spouse into a vampire)?
After a few side missions with the vampires, you will be directed to Vingalmo (if you have a spouse). He will talk about how he knows you have a spouse and then set you off on a quest to give your spouse Lord Harkon's gift.
This mod works perfectly with the Dawnguard side of the storyline - got Sorine's quests, a couple from Isran/Gunmar, and then Florentius' - all without a hitch!
Thank you for this wonderful mod, it's now on my "must-have" list.
That sounds like the quest has gotten bugged to be honest (it seems to be a common problem with Dawnguard). Once you've had all of the chalice upgrades, that quest shouldn't ever be an option again. The best way to try to fix it is to go back to a save before you completed the last part of the chalice quest and see if it will register it properly when you complete it again.
